Guest guest
>8. Please comment on combust planets? > > I define combustion as the placement of a planet within the given orb for its combustion and also being placed behind the Sun. Combustion of Venus and Mercury cannot occur if they are in front of the Sun as their rays can reach the earth without obst >ruction. Thus, even if within the orb of combustion, Mercury (and all planets) in retrograde motion and Venus in direct motion (since the direction of rotation of Venus is the opposite as compared to other planets) are not combust. Unless this astronomic >al fact is borne in mind, the readings will be wrong. > > Some astrologers opine that Mars cannot be combust because of its name " Vakra " as used in the relevant sloka for exceptions. I have already explained the scientific facts behind this sloka and they are found to be quite true. In quite a few charts wh >en Venus is quite close to the Sun, and is in direct motion, artistic talents have been seen. Budha-Aditya yoga becomes meaningless if Mercury is close to the Sun and retrogrades and then the combustion of Mercury occurs and all the creative energy of Mer >cury is wasted. > Jay Jagannatha You say that Mercury in retrograde motion is not combust, and all planets in retrograde motion and venus in direct, then in next paragraph that if mercury is retrograde and close to Sun in gets combust. Is there a necessity for merc and others to be retrograde not to be combust or what? Is there a typo or have I misunderstood something? ys, Z

Guest guest
Dear Zoran, Then Mercury is not combust proving that the Dharma Karmadhipati Yoga is going to be very effective in your life. This yoga, besides other things, gives a very sharp intellect and the WISDOM OF THE SAGES. The blessings of Jagannath come easily and Krishna shall be sworn to the protection of such individuals in His form as ACHYUTA (See Parasara with references about this Yoga). Best Wishes Sanjay Rath - Zoran Radosavljevic <satya <varahamihira > Monday, May 08, 2000 7:16 PM Re: [Jaya Jagannath] Interview - combust planets > > > > You say that Mercury in retrograde motion is not combust, and all planets in retrograde motion > > and venus in direct, then in next paragraph that if mercury is retrograde and close to Sun in > > gets combust.
