Sub Periods for Narayana Dasa

1. Narayan Dasa Sub-period

 

Is the rule for sub-period : "find the stronger of the dasa sign and the 7th from it. The antaradasas begin from the sign occupied by the lord of the stronger one" . Does this mean the strongest house in the rasi chart ?

Brendan wrote: Namaste Frank,Sub-periods for Libra. Libra is stronger than Aries. Venus is placed in Cancer, so start from Cancer, even sign and therefore backward.Progression is as follows and duration of each is 9 months.Cn, Ge, Ta, Ar, Pi, Aq, Cp, Sg, Sc, Li, Vi, Le

Question:a. I do not understand the evaluation process for the selection of the sub-periods e.g. the how and why for Libra's selection. Should I conclude From your data that for evaluating the start of Narayana

 

Dasa Sub-period you start the evaluation from Arires or the the 7th from it? ( for every Evaluation, not just my chart?)

b. I see that Libra's Lord Venus is placed in the 9th ( Cn). Therefore start from Cn to fill out the rest of the sub-dasa order.

Jaimini when listing out the rules for strength gives the first rule as the Rasi

where the

Atmakaraka is will be the stronger. Then going on to the lords of the houses he

says that

the Rasi owned by the Atmakaraka is stronger. Could you please give a clue as to

in which

cases these rules should be observed and where omitted? I give a few cases:

 

1. Determining the beginning sign of a Rasi Dasa

2. Determining Arudhas (planetary andh house Padas)

3. Determining Rudra and Marakas
