Om Gurave Namah

Namaste Venkatesh,

I think Karaka Yoga is similar to " yoga " between Sun

and moon, but instead of them, the calculation is

based upon the longitudes of AK and AmK.

I am totally blank about the significance of this

yoga.

Lakshmi

Dear Lakshmi

Sent another mail on this. How about checking this for the charts of Vivekananda and others.

With best wishes and warm regards,

Om Gurave NamahNamaste Venkatesh,Here is what Narasimha garu has to say about Karaka tithi...taken fromhis mail on Kundalini Awakening."As you correctly suspected, Atma karaka is very important. It is thruthe individual soul that one's consciousness perceives the universal soul. While Sun and Moon show the universal soul and the mind, I was taughtthat atma karaka (AK) and amatya karaka (AmK) show the individual souland the individual consciousness. Just as you find a tithi from thelongitudes of Sun and Moon, you can find a "karaka tithi" from thelongitudes of AK and AmK. Just as the normal tithi physically showsthe phase of Moon and how much of Sun's light Moon is reflecting, thiskaraka tithi shows the phase of individual consciousness andhow much of the light held by the soul is reflected by the consciousness. As per tradition, this karaka tithi is supposed to be important forthe native's spirituality. It throws light into the purpose ofcreation of the person. Its lord controls the spiritual well-being ofthe person. In the charts of most of the mystics, you will find an associationbetween the lord of the karaka tithi and the 8th house in D-20 oratleast navamsa."I have no idea what Karaka yoga is supposed to be.Regards,Lakshmijyotisa , Venkatesh S <ksvssvk> wrote:> JAI SRIRAM> Dear Members,> > What is the significant> role of karaka tithi and karaka yoga which in the> version Jh7.03?> > Thanks,> S.Venkatesh> > > > >

Om Gurave Namah

Dear Sanjay ji,

I checked up your chart too and found that jupiter,

your AmK, is the lord of karaka tithi and is

associated with 8th house in D-20, so your route to

spirituality is through your profession as teacher.

I went through Narasimha's chart too and his karaka

tithi lord (Jupiter again) is associated with 8th

house both in navamsa and vimsamsa. Jupiter is

Narasimha garu's putrakaraka, so can it be said that

his spiritual aspirations will fructify with the

advent of a sishya of the stature of Swami

Vivekananda?

Or am i totally wrong in my analysis? I request your

clarifications.

Lakshmi

Dear Lakshmi

You should get hold of my lecture on Amatyakaraka and Darakaraka from SJC-Serbia. What I taught is not in those papers and far more deeper inclding the carakaraka themselves. The spiritual levels or what we refer to as manifestation of spirituality in our lives is done at the three levels of the AK, AmK and BK. See how vivekananda rose because of BK or Guru while I am more of a karma yogi kind or trying to be one by being a teacher of a vedanga as AmK Jupier lords the karaka tithi.

In Narasimha's case Jupiter is also the lord of Karaka tithi...does this show knowledge of Jyotish from a previous existance that Narasimha and I carry into this birth? After all what is Karaka tithi? Is it not linking the Atma which continues from one existance into another...let me have your view of say a few more charts and these together.

Once again, you cannot even imagine what I talked of in those two lectures ...just get those tapes from Zoran. I just decided to let go with the mantra -

om hamsa krom samba-shiva-gurave namah..and my soul opened up to what I had learnt without inhibition or fear or any blocking...just let go as many would say.

With best wishes and warm regards,

Sanjay Rath

Om Gurave Namah

Namaste Guruji,

My respects to you and the guru parampara on this

auspicious day of Guru Poornima.

Guruji, from the way you have described, I think your

presentation must have been really an amazing and

beautiful outpouring and I can't wait to hear it. I am

sure Zoran will have the CDs ready in no time and I

will be one of the first persons to get them.

Yes, from Jupiter's association with karaka tithi, it

definitely follows that you, Narasimha and Partha all

have a long attachment to jyotish, which must have

spanned several life times.

I have Mars, my AK lording my actual tithi and karaka

tithi too. He appears to be my janma vighati graha as

well. It looks as though I have brought in a lot of

fire and energy from my previous existences! There

seems to be no escaping my AK!

Regards,

Lakshmi
