Dear Students and well wishers,

Thank you for your greetings on Guru Purnima. I am sending a consolidated message to all to avoid spamming the lists. Spend your days remembering your teachers as this is really *teachers day* and in their honor recite a few nice mantras and stotras.

The students of SJC Boston circle are doing well in compiling lessongs on Vedic Astrology. You have all benefited from their work in recording the teachings of Narasimha and the mp3 lessons.

My gratitude to SJC Serbia for doing such stupendous work in organising the conferences and the lectures. With the blessings of Sri Jagannath Mahaprabhu, SJC College should become functional in Serbia in a few years. Zoran Radosavljevic deserves all the credit for this performance and his shisyas are working diligently for this end.

Lakshmi has kept the good work going in California and to her I offer my best prayers to Radhika - raadhikaaye shreyam namah

Sarbani has done an excellent job in keeping Jyotish Digest alive and to her I offer my prayers to Jagannatha - jaya jagannaatha

Dewavrata Buit has done well in starting SJCERC but can do better in organising the website for the same by providing materials etc for guiding prospective students. More work needs to be done in this area - may he have the strength of Sri Balabhadra deva to attain this objective.

Purush of SJC Singapore is no longer with us. On the occasion of this Guru Purnima, I make Sarajit Poddar the head of SJC Singapore and Maria Wong a Jyotish Guru with SJC Singapore. May the Paramesthi Guru Lord Shiva always guide them in their work.

Ramdas ji and all others thank you very much for your efforts to keep the eight-petal lotus of SJC glowing. I offer you heartfelt thanks...koti koti dhanyavad.

With best wishes and warm regards,

Sanjay Rath

Dear Sanjay Ji,

Thanks for your encouraging mail to everyone in the list.

Nowadays again I started checking mails in VA list and my research work on Retrograde planets has become an interest wuith most of the members and it has become difficult for me to write everyone of them immidiately. So I am taking time to answer to everybody.

I am thinking of writing an article on " ASHLESHA BALI OR NAGA BALI " to JD.I wanted your feedback in this.

Eventhough we speak of Naag Dosha or Sarpa Dosha in the charts and as per Prashna Margam, the best remedy is performing of Ashlesha Bali as Ashlesha Nakshatra is indicative of Naaga Devatha.I have collected a lot of information about this this time when I went to Mangalore. Why we have to perform this special Pooja and what are the results of this Pooja etc.,what is its relation in Vedas and Puranas etc.will be dealt in my article.

I have read the Book written by Visti " Jyotish Fundamenstals " and I recommend it for every learner of Jyotish and also for avanced students and practising Astrologers. There also the remedy for Sarpa Dosha or Naaga Dosha mentioned is Sarpa Bali which is nothing but Ashlesha Bali, also another remedy given is singing in praise of Naaga Devatha. What is this singing and when it will be done etc.I wanted to write in detail.Ofcourse it is time consuming.

I hope everybody will be benefitted by this article.

Dear Ramdas ji

Honestly, you don;t need to ask - just send me the final version and it goes to print. I am aware that you are doing a lot of research into the remedial measures and the authoritative texts you read shall provide good guidance for all.
