New Delhi, India

Dated 01 August, 2005

Dear Jyotiña and SJC Members,

I am happy to announce the results of the B.A. first year examination of SJCERC held in the summer of 2005 for the term 2004-05.

India

Of the six candidates who registered, 2 students have appeared for the examinations and one of them has fared well. We hope that the response to the program shall improve. Keeping in view the costs of SJCERC involved, we have recommended a drastic cut in the annual SJCERC fee for India from its present level to Rs 500 (Rupees Five hundred only).

Europe

The results for Europe have been very encouraging showing that the students have put in a great deal of effort and credit must be given to Jyotiña Guru Zoran Radosalvjevic for this result (details Annexure-1). Of the 42 students appearing, 8 have not attempted the examination giving a pass percentage of about 80% or so. Keeping the costs involved and the paying capacity of the students, we have suggested that the SJCERC annual fees be reduced from US$ 100 to €25 (Twenty Five Euro only). The successful students are advised to pay their past dues (if any) as well as the University and SJCERC fees for the term 2005-06 for the second year BA Vedäïga Jyotiña.

America/Asia

The response from America and the rest of the world has been rather poor for various reasons. We are considering starting a bridge/diploma course that will prepare the students for the BA program. Details will be communicated after the SJC USA conferences.

Admissions 2005-06

SJCERC is admitting new students for the first year BA Vedäïga Jyotiña course starting from the term 2005-06. All Jyotiña Gurus are advised to send a list of their candidates/students to Dewavrat Buit, Member Secretary SJCERC at the E-mail address dewavrat2000 at an early date.

M.A. Vedäïga Jyotiña 2006

It has been decided to start a course for the Masters’ degree in Vedäïga Jyotiña from the term year 2006-07. Applications shall be accepted by SJCERC from prospective candidates, who already possess a Bachelors degree in any subject. The candidates shall have to sit or a qualifying examination to be held after the SJC Annual conference in January, 2006 at New Delhi, India (Detailed syllabus at Annexure-2). At present SJCERC can admit only 15 students in this category for the MA Vedäïga Jyotiña course
