Guest guest
Shri Brahmadaru Smarami Dear Visti, Namaskar. Ketu represents Ganesha in the chart. The rashi he sits in, as you know only too well, colours his different names; the twelve names given by Narada in the Sankata Nashana/Mochana hymn. (Sankata for benefit of non-Indian members means grave danger, trouble, serious obstacles/dilemma). These are the twelve names which will liberate/release a person from terrible danger and from it one may infer, from all obstacles in life. Hence these names, Narada tells us, are to be recited during auspicious muhurtas like marriage, grha pravesha (entering a new home), travelling, the starting of education, battle and during grave danger. So it is not merely obstacles that one is talking about here, but danger as well. Upon reciting these names, the scholar will attain knowledge, the one who is seeking money will amass wealth, the one who desires will fulfill all his desires and the one yearning for moksha will be liberated. In this manner the goals of the four ayanas are taken care of.
