I am > sure we are all going to benefit because of that. Ofcourse I do not doubt your reference, Sri KN Rao says " The mention of it in books on mundane astrology like Brihat Samhita and Bhadra Bahu Samhita " In his article at URL http://www.journalofastrology.com/ARTICLES/the_phenomenon_of_venus.htm Hopefully there is no typo in the article. It would be very helpfull if you could give your list with all the Nakshatra from your referece, Yesterday I dint get time to refer to Brihat Samhita. > Prabhakara, The gunas and tattwas are different, but > it is their various interactions which produce so much > variety in the creation, isn't it? And, if the trikona > symbolises the trigunas, the central Bindu represents > omkara (shiva)and contains the seed of pancha bhutas > within it. Yes I agree with you, What was just trying to express and add to your thought, I am only trying to elaborate more from my thoughts so we both learn in this process. Samkhya Shastra, The Shastra for enumeration from Naaraayan, which I think is basis of all numbers, Should be accurately used. The Unmanifest manifests itself in a sequence of very mystic divisions. In the begining was there 0 or infinite?, This is Omkaara, Unified words. The 1. Then 1 to 2 (Purusha & Praakriti), the 2 to 3(Guna), 3 Gunas represent the 3 Emotions,3 Shakti so on Then the Purpose and Tatwa, From tatwa therefore the senses was Born, The 3 becomes a 4(Purushaartha/Human-Purpose) and a 5 (Tatwa) So On. > .. .. .. > represents action based on dharma. Infact, I said 3 > years ago itself that the 10th house is a continuation > of the 9th house, especially the the 2nd part of > sagittarius and the first part of capricorn are one > continuum. If you go through the description of the > signs, you can observe this. > Nice explantions, Can you please elaborate a little more on this 2nd half part of Sg being similar to 1st half of Capricorn. Sg:1st Half Human face ,2nd part Horse body. Cp:1st Half Deer Face, 2nd part Crocodile. Since both sign's are Prishtodaya signs the Face comes in latter degree of Each sign was my understanding. therefore, Sg : 15-30deg is Human Face and Cp : 0-15deg is Crocodile. Have I misunderstood something?, Please do clarify. Warm Regards Sanjay P Hare Raama Krishna
Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Dear Prabhakara, Namaste. Thanks for the link to the article..it looks very interesting. My version of nakshatra mandala and veedhi can be found at sohamsa/message/28 Coming to Sagi, Parasara says that the first half of Dhanus is biped while the second half is quadruped. He also states that Makara is quadruped in the first half and foot-less ( & glides in water) in the second half. The entire thing is like a denouement...one fluid movement! The quadruped of Dhanus roams on the earth, as does the quadruped of Makara. Both are pristodaya and strong in the night. I don't think Parasara specified this kind of 0-15 deg and 15-30 deg differentiation for any other signs except for Sg and Cp! Parasara refers to the Makara as large, ungainly and variegated. That doesn't sound much like a deer to me:--))but the sector pertaining to capricorn in the my version of nakshatra mandala is indeed called " mriga " !
