Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Swee Yes, I understnad that, my question is, shouldnt the earlier time be used, considering that it is generally accepted that the earlier time signified by the smoke signal is the announcement to the world or is it the official pronouncement of the name the time to be used. Guest guest
Since the cardinals assembled to produce something, even the snapshot of the moment of commencement of the conclave should, and would, give a decent handle on the things to come, not unlike the pert nishekha lagna I suggest we draw a simile to the buying of a car, which involves at least two significant points in time - the moment of payment of the bucks, and taking delivery of the car itself. Both are significant muhurthas, although the latter is considered more prominent. Some even choose a muhurtha to either perform a puja or snip a bit of the silencer pipe depending on their religious leanings, but that's probably besides the point Completely outta depth here, Ramapriya ayirpamar On 4/20/05, bipinprag <bipin.prag wrote: Jaya JagannathaDear SweeYes, I understnad that, my question is, shouldnt the earlier time be used, considering that it is generally accepted that the earlier time signified by the smoke signal is the announcement to the world or is it the official pronouncement of the name the time to be used. Guest guest
Dear Bipin, I would say, without looking at the chart, that the time of announcement may be treated as the time of his becoming the Pope. Guest guest
Dear Bipin, The time smoke is seen indicates that someone is elected to be the Pope. For coronations, one has to take the time when it is officially done.
