Dear Jyotisha

Namaste

I have been pondering on this question and

would like someone to please guide me. What is the parampara

understanding of when the Soul enters the body. My understanding is that

the Soul enters the body at conception. So if this is the case, why do we

caste a chart for the person when the native is born. My understanding according

to the parampara of calculating Birth Time of the native, is when the umbilical

cord is cut – is this correct. I do know many astrologers have differing

opinions on this.

Now one can understand in Vedic times that

the act of procreation in conceiving a child was timed astrologically, so it

was easy for them to have used this conception time as the time for the chart

with a certain degree of accuracy. Today, its almost impossible for couples

to know exactly when conception took place, unless they followed the spiritual process.

Ive discovered in talking to couples, that conceiving children is becoming more

and more difficult. Many couples resort to fertility treatments and

drugs, so further adding to this complication. There are some fertility

treatments that involve fertilization to be aided in the Laboratory, so if

someone were to have a successful fertilization in this way, could we use this

chart successfully.

Ive heard Sanjayji and some other Gurus

mention of techniques where one can find out the time of conception from Prasna

or Natal

chart. The clarification that I seek is, are the two charts different,

are they used to analyse different areas and time different things, or is the

one chart more accurate in prediction than the other.

If there are any references to some texts on

this matter, I would be most grateful. I understand that this question

may be an obvious one to some, but im sure many will benefit from the

discussion.

Best Wishes

Bipin
