Than do you mean that it would also be OK to have 12 divisions of a year that time. I think it should be linked by 12 seasonal moths not by lunar months.Even i will suggest that it would be nice to have only 6 divisions as there are only 6 seasons. < Many cultures around the world divide the year, the time it takes the Sun to apparently revolve around the ecliptic, into twelve parts. > God knows how our Sidereal Jyotishi and GREEKS divide 12 parts of ecliptic on the basis of animals so that is why there are so many ayanamsha. Guest guest
Mr Rajput Ramveer Singh , Mr Prashant Pandey, Mr AK Kaul & c should now fighyt for 6 months in a year : <<< " I think it should be linked by 12 seasonal moths not by lunar months.Even i will suggest that it would be nice to have only 6 divisions as there are only 6 seasons. " >>> There is no unified field theory and novel ideas about gravitation are still coming from scientists. It is too early to compute planetary motions of distant ages on the basis of data of a short period which is available to scientists. 12-months in a year has thousands of years of data to back it, while 11 mongths is an unproven hypothesis. -VJ ================================ === ________________________________ Ramveer Singh <singh_ramveer Tuesday, June 23, 2009 6:25:36 PM Fw: [HinduCalendar] Fwd: Re: References of Rashis in the Vedaas and the Vedanga Jyotisha. --- On Mon, 22/6/09, singh_ramveer <singh_ramveer@ .in> wrote: singh_ramveer <singh_ramveer@ .in> [HinduCalendar] Fwd: Re: References of Rashis in the Vedaas and the Vedanga Jyotisha.
