Guest guest
Dear sirs, Pranams. I have a doubt. I would like to know whether the planets a. contribute and induce the sense of humour in the human heart b. the malefics supposed to be bad humoured will ever do the inducement-will they ever smile? Was there any query earlier? I don't know. Please kindly clarify. with regards SRB See the Web & #39;s breaking stories, chosen by people like you. Guest guest
BS Ramachandran ji More like a " hiccupp/hiccough " than a doubt? a. Examine the awastha of the planet! Even Saturn has been observed to bring in glee -- though at times dry humour! b. The malefics? It is SO easy to play the " victim game " The horoscope is doing this to me, Shani is doing it to me -- Kalsarpa yoga is doing it to me -- Jyotish has provided for your personal picking and choosing hundreds of excuses! It is up to each of us to turn each of those excuses into REASONS for growth! RR , Balasubramaniam Ramachandran <balsu46 wrote: > > Dear sirs, > > Pranams. I have a doubt. Guest guest
Humor emerges when intellect, communication and language are comfortable. All planets are also *literally humorous* (apart from their medical humor), and more so the *mudit* ones, but Mercury has to give the green signal. Mercury is a very special brat, said to be strong in any awastha (baladi). The mercurial quick thinking and wit may be garnished with dry saturnian humor, or wise Jovian crackles, or aggressive mars prickles. When retrograde, mercury may make the communication twisted or not straight. Well-placed luminaries make the native at peace with self, to generate humor. Signs (fiery/earthy/watery/airy) involved with mercury, moon and other participants may also indicate the type of humor. Then there is KETU (the keeda!) A humorist has to understand and process information at the micro-level to generate humor from it. Ketu makes good linguists and analysers, good computer professionals, etc. Hence a happy Ketu could also create good humor. 2H indicates verbal humor, 3H/5H could make a writer and a professional one with karma also getting entangled in the scheme. Whether one becomes a PG Wodehouse (performing flea of humor!) or a George Illiot (F-loss of humor!) is a matter of serious research and thought. a random thought-sharing... Guest guest
Dear Neelamji, Thanks a lot. You gave the relevant tip. Shri RRji also gave the same suggestion that I should see the state of the planets. Apparently I could not understand the importance of the state of the planets. But when it comes to the question of temperament of the planet in a horoscope, yes, I have to deeply analyse this aspect. I remember to have read Shri RRji's article in a magazine. Thank you once again. with regards SRB --- On Thu, 2/7/09, neelam gupta <neelamgupta07 wrote: neelam gupta <neelamgupta07 Re: re: humour inducing planets Thursday, 2 July, 2009, 9:57 PM Humor emerges when intellect, communication and language are comfortable. Guest guest
Dear Balarubramaniam ji, I had been writing about astrology and jyotish and all perceptions-related since mid-70s! Some of my outpourings even published by the grace of kind editors of magazines and journals in India and elsewhere! I have NEVER claimed that what I wrote was invented but all of it discovered! Nothing ever was original but emanating from just reading and partially understanding from what was ALLOWED to be available by DIVINE ALLOWANCE! Other than my QUESTIONS! All those are my OWN! And NONE addressed to you on this forum or other fora where I asked! STATE is just one of the many beginnings, but please do not sit too long under the khazoor tree tasting its wares and enjoying the hydration that an OASIS provides once you have chosen to journey through the Desert in the hope of finding an OASIS? The GOAL should have been: Finding the wonderful reality that lies beyond the Desert -- despite its oases -- because the world cannot live on Khazoor/Date that alone seems to live in the MAYA of an Oasis!! Guest guest
Dear Shri RRji, I had taken your observations into my mind with all humility. You had never claimed anything as your original. But you are helping me to understand where I should look for the solutions. For me it is a new world with several objects of fascination, since my acquaintance with the subject is hardly 5 years.I have no misgiving that I would digress as I am being led by some veterans in this field.. I would also confess that at the age of 63, I am more fascinated with the nuances of this great science and the wit, wisdom and logic of the people who patronize this science with Divine loyalty. I honestly cherish the company of this group which is giving me more vigour and clarity in my mind. I hope I am perfectly on my road to REALITY. What else do I need to cross this deceptive Maya.
