Well in order not to influence people adversely i would say that in my personal experience with them which dates before i entered into astro studies, i have found them working perfectly and not perfectly also. So one should be prepared for both way results. In terms of birth time rectification the best my mentor says is Pandit Lekhraj who is from Mandi in Himachal, who sees your fingers and calculates the exact birth time, charges some Rs 1000 i guess and he has been tested a lot. Comes once in a while to Mathura for consultations. Long back i was in touch with his P.A MR Dobriyal +91 9412708832 , but now when i was in HImachal i tried calling on the above number but it was changed it seems so i missed my chance to meet Pandit Lekhraj. All in all since we are on the topic of birth time rectification i have seen big time stalwarts fail in it via normal vedic astrology but still normal rectification via standard rules is the safest and the best sticking to Rashi chart first. Rectification of Rashi chart in absense of any time of birth in itself is a tough task and really brings out the basics that we often ignore. My 2 cents on BTR but i would recommend students to test Krishna's BTR method that is there on his blog, it is very very promising though i am unable to understand it due to lack of time and ability.
