How to find a GURU from horoscope

Dear Learned Members , I wanted to know whether i will get any "GURU" in my life time . The search of a "GURU" did not yield me one . I have taken inititiation from RK mutt (mantra diksha) some time back , that was in 1998 jan-feb (Rahu - venus) . Venus is with karakamsha in navamsha. But i never practised properly , even though i still go R.K.Mutt some times Another interesting thing is that , i have learned lot of hatha yoga techniques , astrology and many other vedic things from my father . He has guided me through my difficult periods It is one of those times he introduced me into astrology . Iam learning astrology from then, through books , sohamsa etc . The point i want to discuss here , is than , can my father be my "GURU". In my horoscope my 9th Lord is SUN and 9th Lord Sun is placed in my 1st House ie saggitarius . SUN representing my father , GURU representing 9th House, as there is an association between these can i take my father as my "GURU". How to find a "GURU" from the chart ? Can

Dear Srikumar, I feel, the Navamsa shall reveal more. Kona placements of Navamsa lagna can be taken as an indicator. If the 5th house is stronger, studies can be by self efforts and if 9th house is stronger, then it will be with the help of a guru only.
