Guest guest
Dear Sharma Ji and Friends, Paranam. I have wondered many a times as to why this Parasar Nambasa yoga has become famous as " Sarp Yoga " where as the word " Sarp " has not been use any where in the sloka. The Proper Noun (name of the Yoga) can not be translated. For examaple one can not call Mridang Yoga by a local name or call it Dholak yoga. The word used by Parasar is Bhujanga Yoga. Parasar said: " KENDRA-TRAYA-GATAIH SOUMAIH PAAPERVAA DALASANJYAKAU | KRAMAAN-MAALA-BHUJANG-AAKHYAU SHUBHA-ASUBHA-PHALAPRADAU || It simply means " if the three kendra are occupied by three benefic or malefic planets, this forms Dala yoga. The yoga formed by benefic and malefic planets are respectively Mala yoga anf Bhjang yoga " The meanings and contention is very clear. It is something surrounding the neck of the individual. If it is good planets it is Mala decorating his / her personality and if it is malefics then it is a Bhujang resulting others considering his as add on. Those are the good or bad effects. Bhujang is not necessarily a snake (sarp - in the literal meaning of " Gale Bhajang Bhasma ang " as characterised for Lord Shiva.) Bhujang also means a liability, " the paramour of a prostitute (uselessless), any constant companion of a prince (free loader), the dissolute friend of a prince( who has no other errands)... it basically signifies, lack of indipendence and own standing. It is something a bad permanent companion. Sarp yoga results in a little lack of enterprise and a little weakness in the strenth to take independent enterprises. Mal Yoga will give a native a bold independent nature. It is never the so called terrifying " Sarp " or Snake yoga. That is rumour mongering....there is nothing called Sarp yoga. In ditermining, the benefics and malefics, the functional nature of planets should be taken into account. Say for example, Mars for Leo Lagna in the 10th house being part of Bhujang yoga can not be counted as malefic. How can lagna lord or yogkarka take part in Bhujanga Yoga. Comments are solicited. Regards. Om Namo Narayana.
Guest guest
Hi ? SArpa yoga, is 3 or more malefics in kendras. If Mars also aspects ketu in lagna it is a pischa yoga. Solution Look and see if there are any natural benefics in the kendras. They can point to mantras that can help. Otherwise the person can chant Om Astikam Munirajam Namo Namah Also Mrtyunjaya Mantra short version- Aum Jum Sah If there are heavy heavy afflictions to navamsa lagna as well, person should first chant mantras for Lord Narasimha deva , for protection. In general These mantras are always helpful for all situations when in doubt/ om namo naaraayanaaya vyam vyasadevaaya namah om vasudevaaya namah kliiM vasudevaaya namah Best wishes Lakshmi , manoj sharma <swastik_astro wrote: > > Jai Maa > > Pranam > to all senior guru > > can any one tell me about the sarpa yoga. if more than 3 malefics are involved what is there effects. if some body is afflicted by this yoga what is the remedy for it. > > thanks > > > > New Email names for you! > Get the Email name you & #39;ve always wanted on the new @ymail and @rocketmail. > Hurry before someone else does! > http://mail.promotions./newdomains/aa/ >
