Guest guest
Dear Alexandra, This is unlikely to help. You have seen my recent reply to Syamasundara das in this regard. Guest guest
JAYA JAGANNATHA! Dear Alexandra, Namaste. Dear Group My knowledge of vedic astrology is very minimal but I have a few questions about SP's chart. When it is analysed backwards like one member suggested, from the time of death, which Lagna shows up Sag or Cap? Also how much weight is given to the correlation between physical features and Lagnas. It appears that as another member pointed out, his photo indicates that he was more typical of a Sag Lagna. I read in one of the e mails that on one occasion in his life he was arrested for urinating in the street. Wouldn't this rebellious behavior be more typical of a free spirited Dhanus Lagna then a more conservative Makara Lagna? If someone could send me his birth details I would like to run his chart and see if I can come up with anything relevant. Thank you for your patience with a very slow and inexperienced student! His birth details are as follows: September 1 1896 4.00 pm LMT, Calcutta (88E22 22N32). This was the time reported by Himself. He said " around 4 pm. " This gives Capricorn Lagna. Sanjayji takes 3.24 pm, which gives Sagittarius Vargottama lagna. His disapearance was at November 14, 1977 19.25 IST, Vrindavan (77E42, 27N35). In this chart Lagna is in Gemini, which is the 7th (Maraka sthan) from Sagittairus Lagna, and has Jupiter also in it. In the 7th we have Moon appropriately indicating Krishna, and Sagittairus indicating a holy place (Vrindavan). So this Tirobhava Kundali for me both confirms that He returned to Krishna to the spiritual world and as this is the Lagna, this is the original place where He came from. Moksha yogas in this and previous lives are also seen in the natal chart. Arudha Lagna is in tha sama sign as in Janma Kundali and Tirobhava lagna is in 3rd from it. In Navamsha Atmakarak Sun is also in Gemini, and exalted Ketu is in Sagittarius. So I would cosnider this the chart of a disappearance of a perfect jeevanmuktha (liberated soul). And thich chart also fits Sagittiarus Lagna more. As for the toher event mentioned by you, I alaready gave an explanation, although did not forward it to this list. I reproduce it below: I was just reading Shyamasundara prabhu's Makara.doc and found the following statement: Srila Prabhupada also had some legal trouble and was arrested at the age of fourteen for urinating in the street in front of the police station. Rahu and Saturn from Bandhana yoga over the Lagna (if Sagittarius is taken). It happened in Rahu/Mercury, if the timing is correct, as Rahu/Saturn was running up until February of 1909. Taken Rahu/Mercury, Rahu obstructs the Argala by Saturn, while at the same time himself giving a Paapargala on the Lagna, and exalted Mercury aspects lagna, thereby indicating quick escape. Mercury conjoined by debilitated dispositor of Saturn and being in 12th from it may break the effect of Bandhana yoga quickly. Of course this may also be explained through Capricorn Lagna I suppose, but is not so clear-cut. Interestingly, both Saturn and Rahu were transitting His Arudha Lagna that year, which once more reinforces that the Bandhana is caused by these two planets. Guest guest
HAR HARE HARI WAHE GURU Dear Alexandra and Gauranga, His disapearance was at November 14, 1977 19.25 IST, Vrindavan (77E42, 27N35). Please note also Srila's natal Mrityupad, pada of the eighth house, which is implicated in the deaths of ordinary mortals according to the rule outlined in COVA: Sun at month of death should be in trines to Mrityupad. But in cases of saints these rules do not hold. In Srila Prabhupad's disappearance chart Ketu falls on the natal Mrityupad showing (Ketu in Pisces) liberation. For Makara lagna, this link is gone. For Makara lagna there is no link at all, even that of ordinary mortals, to the Sun at time of passing. Sun then is 28 Libra having no relationship to Mrityupad in Taurus for Makara lagna.
