Pranaam Sanjayji,

Below is my Tribhaga lesson attempt continued.

I also wanted say that I feel like doing some work/help for you or

SJVC in some way. Can you please tell me as to how i can best help

you. I would be greatly pleased to help in any manner.

> WHICH IS STRONGER: JANMA OR LAGNA?

SPRABHAKARAN: Moon is in 10th house from lagna so both have equal number of

planet in their quandrants.Exalted Moon Conjunct Saturn and no planet

in lagna so Moon wins against Lagna.

> ASSUMING JANMA, THEN YOU HAVE PREFERRED UTPANNA. FINE LET US SEE.

SPRABHAKARAN:

Sorry, I made a mistake.

Moon 22Ta50.3 = 52.84Deg = Rohini

Utpanna 16Cn10.3 =106.17Deg = Pushyam

Begining Dasa = Saturn

Balance (106.667-106.17)/13.333* 6y4Mon = .50/13.333 = 2.85 Months

> WHY DID YOU USE JANMA WHEN YOU PREFERED UTPANNA?

SPRABHAKARAN:

I wanted to compare the results thru both. Am I doing a mistake?.

I'll do the rest my lesson with only Moon Utpanna Nakshatra

Moon Utpanna Tribhagi Dasa on event is

Mercury Mars 1974-Aug-13

I'll skip this event since it's not clear enough.

SPRABHAKARAN:

Moon Utpanna Tribhagi Dasa around event is

Rahu Saturn 1995-Oct-25

Rahu Mercury 1996-Oct-6

Rahu is lord of 7th house indicating foreign travel.

and Rahu is in 9th house from moon indicating long distance travel.

You Said:

Unlike the normal Vimsottari dasa that covers only one-third of the

Bha-chakra (120 Degrees) the tribhaga dasa actually covers the zodiac with

each and every nakshatra contributing its period to cover the full life span

of 120 years.

SPRABHAKARAN:

So can i assume that for me Begining with Saturn TB Dasa, It would

give indications of Pushyam, Merc of Ashlesha etc?. So would Rahu

TB dasa give results for swati?

Yours Sincerely

S.Prabhakaran

One important point is to consider that nakshatra dispositors can act

much as planets in house do as dispositors. If Moon is in Hasta in

nakshatra disposited by Moon and Mars is in Rohini in nakshatra

disposited by Moon, results in Moon dasha will include effects given by

Moon and Mars. This will be especially apparent in Moon/Mars.

This is the principle of nadi jyotish, which considers nakshatras as

giving the sookshma or subtle effects while planets give the sthula,

gross, effects of planets they disposit in their rashis. Thus

one

probably should not try to distinguish between planets and nakshatras.

One should not consider that one has Saturn dasha Pushya antara for

example. But one could say that if in first tribhagi one is running

Saturn dasha, any planet in Pushya will give its effects. In second

tribhagi, any planet in Anuradha will give its effects. In third

tribhagi, any planet in Utt Bhadra will give its effects. Antaras

would

probably be each of the nine planets just as in vimsottari dasa,

following from the planet whose dasa it is, i.e. if it starts with

Saturn dasa, depending on where dasa sesham is shows first bhukti, and

then all nine planets cycle from first bhukti lord.

This leaves the question unanswered, which of the three nakshatras

should be considered in the first tribhagi, which in

the second which in the third. For example in Narasimha's chart, you

are running Rahu dasa. Jupiter in Swati and Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada

should each give effects in one of the tribhagis. You are in the

first

tribhagi. If we take them in order from

0 Aries, you would be getting effects from Ardra first, with no

planets. In next tribhagi dasa of Rahu, you would get results of

Jupiter. In third tribhagi you would get results of Rahu

itself. Also,

transits utting vedha onto Ardra nakshatra may have strong effect on

you. For example, around the ninth of June 2000 Sun Ven Mars and Merc

were all in Ardra. That should have

been a time making a major impact.

Sat Nam,

Sat Siri Kaur

I see another reason why antardasas are 9 and not 27.

The way thribhagi dasa was defined is very generic. For any dasa corresponding

thribhagi dasa is defined as taking the total duration of dasa to be 1/3rd

of original duration and having three such cycles. Now if we change the way we

cast antardasas, it would pose problems to the generacity of this definition.

I have a question about Narayana Dasa. Suppose a rasi

is of N years of dasa in first cycle (I am not talking about tribhagi, the

usual Narayana dasa has 2 cycles), in the second cycle it would have 12-N

years. What would happen if the person survives more than 144 years. How would

we determine the dasa durations for the third cycle? (A person living more than

144 years may be rare but not imposible).

Regards,

Vijay.

  • 2 weeks later...

Namaste friends,

When I wrote about my Tribhagi Vimsottari dasa, I said that Moon dasa

corresponding to Rohini brought me a lot of Jyotish knowledge. I

wondered if it was because of the nakshatra aspect of Mercury, Jupiter

and Venus on Rohini in my natal Sarvatobhadra Chakra. Sanjay later

confirmed to me that it is correct.

He told me that Tribhagi dasa shows the progression of janma nakshatra

in one's life, just like Narayana dasa shows the progression of lagna

in one's life. Treat the nakshatra corresponding to the running

Tribhagi dasa as janma nakshatra and find nava taras (sampat tara,

vipat tara etc) and also special nakshatras (karma nakshatra, maanasa

nakshatra, jaati nakshatra etc) w.r.t. the progressed janma nakshatra

and find the influences on them in natal and transit Sarvatobhadra

Chakras.

May Jupiter's light shine on us,

Narasimha
