Om Brihaspataye Namah

Dear Bipin,

Namaste

From what I have read regarding ADHD, it is quite a contraversial

disorder- if a disorder in the first place.

I dont know about you, but when I was a kid, i was hyperactive,

impulsive, distracted etc. Seemed normal to me. I have not seen any

children who are perfect and obediant little robots.

Some people, including some of the worlds modern geniuses, were

dyslexic and had learning problems when they were younger. That does

not amount to ADHD, and there was certainly no Ritalin then. Have

his parents tested him for dyslexia?

Also, we need to look at the child's lifestyle. What does he eat? If

he eats chocolates and sweets- he will be hyperactive. I have seen

calm kids turn into monsters once they had just a piece of chocolate

or candy. Its shocking. There seems to be much more sugar in sweets

than I had my childhood days.

What does he do in his free time? If it involves pc

games/playstation/xbox etc then that must be cut out completely. I

know nephews and nieces of mine who are terrible in school but are

playing advanced computer games that some adults find difficult to

play. Also being stuck to the TV set does mess up one's brain. And

watching this constant violent wrestling will not help either. Kids

are very impressionable and seeing all this violent actions- no

wonder they get easily distracted and agitated.

If he is active, send him for Karate lessons or some other sport

which requires much discipline. Ritalin is a definite no-no. If he

is REALLY hyperactive, they can seek aromatherapy remedies which

calm the nerves, or try some herbal teas etc.

A good child psychologist will be able to treat the child with

counselling as well.

My nephew was put on Ritalin, and the drug seemed not to be working.

My nephew eats way too much sweets, is stuck to his playstation and

wrestling and is also very spoilt by his parents. Disorder? I dont

think so.

I wonder how the world would have turned out if Einstein or Leonardo

da Vinci's parents put them on Ritalin?

Hari bol!

Bivash

Jaya JagannathaDear Bipin,Hare KrishnaMany malefics in kendras is what has caught my eye and that constitutes a sharpa dosha. Planets in parivatana - Rahu-Moon and Saturn-Mars. Tattvas between rashi and trimsamsa matches. 6th lord in 8th gets VRY. As for Sun in the 8th, do offer the jyotir mantra (the lesson you've leanrt from the 2006 workshop in Delhi from Sanjay ji). Guru mahadasa with graha dristhi of conjoined and in exchange Saturn-Mars in movable signs, so possibility of a cure is there.Father is to offer fasts on behalf on Thursdays - 5th from Sun. Offer Guru dakshina and see if his son can be "adopted" by a priest from Lord Shiva's temple.Ayurvedic treatment: Whilst I understand that gold bhasma is added into some herbs, barks etc., it is perhaps better used for the aging brain :)Cut out all processed foods, sugared drinks, sugar, snacks like corn or cheese puffs as tartrazine causes hyperactivity. Only allow cream cheeses occasionally (no hard cheeses as too much salt can cause agressiveness - Mars in parivatana with Saturn). Go organic and eat  brown rice and small pulses - aduki (minimal) and moong beans (frequent). Take alkalizing taro with three year bancha tea (lightly roasted first). Always try and add preserved plums into rice and tea.The idea is to have a totally controlled sattvic diet. Excellent brain function requires seaweeds, a good source for balance. Use wakame to boil with beans and nori and arame with veggies, seamed, boiled or baked, brushed lightly with wheat germ oil. Veggies have natural sweetness or salty/bitter tastes. Salts used are rock, sea, black etc. Steer clear of spices.I know it works. Have done it. Marked and profound changes is evident. Om Namo Bhagavate Param GuraveDear SweeHare KrishnaThanks for your wonderful insight and diet recommendations. One thing for sure is that these type of children are also very gifted and often excel later in life. We can see from the chart that Venus is in Moolatrikona and Lord of UL, indicating a good spouse. Despite Mars being debilitated in Nav, Mars is exalted in 10H in Rasi, promising a good carreer in some leadership position. To note, Sun is also exalted in 10H with Mars in D10

Jaya JagannathaDear Bipin,Hare KrishnaFunny, I am always under the impression that the second house where Moon exalts is the initial learning stages and forms the most critical part of a child's development and intelligence until the age of 3 or 4. After that, it is almost too late. Diana (you've met her) the psychoanalyst and lecturer treats her patients using regressions up to the age of 2 or 2.5 when trauma to a child is most felt and encased in his/her memory, only later to come out (malefics in kendras) causing much suffering to the person. Mostly, we can pin point it down to the natural 4th house lord, the Moon. Note, it is in badhaksthana here, so I have serious doubts his mother can spend time and provide the nurturing love and attention he requires, especially with a dispositor with co-lords. So I would recommend that she should be the one to get the counseling first before the child.According to parshara niti sara, he says that ailments to a child up to the age of 4 is from the mother's sin and from the age of 4-8, it is the father's. After that, it is from his own accumulations of sins carried over from many past lives.Basic studies up to high school is from the 4th house and after that, it is the 5th and that is supreme intelligence that manifests due to one's past. This is higher than get a piece of paper making one an alumni of some university. Hence, jyotir mantra.love,SweeOn 13 May 2008, at 15:45, Bipin Prag wrote:Om Namo Bhagavate Param GuraveDear SweeHare KrishnaThanks for your wonderful insight and diet recommendations. Dear Sweeji,

This is a very interesting thread. If I may, can I ask a related question.

What would be the lifestyle-diet changes for the reverse

problem.Say,someone is too tamasic (letargic, lazy physically and/or

physically) due to strong Saturn in lagna and no planets in kendras

especially in D3 kendras, D3 I believe represents motivation, drive,

energy etc.

Thanks

Shiv

Jaya JagannathaDear Shiv,NamasteOffering mantras during brhama muhurta naturally energises the body. Hence, early to bed deters malefics to overcome the body (kendras) and keeps them at bay and it is not jsyt the early bird that catches the worm, one naturally feels energised.Optimism is caused by one's birth in a week day that is friendly with the Sun. You'll find that a person born on a Sunday morning is naturally optimistic if the Sun is well placed in the chart.Birth that takes place during the different months all have spiritual energies related to the different Adityas. Taking mine as an example, I have the Sun in Meena and this relates to Vshnu Aditya. In my chart, it is in the 11th, hence a blend of energies with Tvastri Aditya is altered in the Ajna cakra. Since the Sun is weak in avastha and in vaiseshikamsa the practice of mauna for an hour everyday can help in the "porcupine chi" tendency. This is known as such because one's thoughts may become haphazard that presents itself in a vocal Freudian slip.Light exercises are recommended. Tai Chi especially, as the masters are given beejas to mentally chant, tongue on the roof of the palate and meditate on the beejas whilst practising the moves. Avoid onions, sugary drinks etc. Eat wholesome foods. Fresh coriander or using raddish periodically can be a good thing as pungent foods is presided over by the Sun. Brisk walk, do not run. No heavy weights as taut muscles means a taut mind. Swimming is always good. Light exercises promote a better hormonal balance. Unlike heavy weight exercises and chocolate and its artificially induced amphetamine (both do that), and the chemical form is being recommended for this child.A good brain food is the walnut. As for motivation and drive, I know that my Guru chants most of the day (in isolation, in a room by himself) and yet, he is motivated to observe all fasts and still does his parikrama of the govadharn hill  twice a month despite his age. When the mind is awake - full Moon, in jagrit avastha, there's no stopping the person is there? You may think he/she is lethargic when in fact they've been to the Sun and Moon and back several times in a day :)) so there's no secret to an early wake up call, which promotes the sattvic planets in your chart and take your life to the pinnacle of longevity.love,SweeOn 13 May 2008, at 18:12, Shiv wrote:Dear Sweeji,This is a very interesting thread. According to parshara niti sara, he says that ailments to a child up to the age of 4 is from the mother's sin and from the age of 4-8, it is the father's. After that, it is from his own accumulations of sins carried over from many past lives.

Basic studies up to high school is from the 4th house and after that, it is the 5th and that is supreme intelligence that manifests due to one's past. This is higher than get a piece of paper making one an alumni of some university. Hence, jyotir mantra.

Om Namo Bhagavate ParamguraveDear ShivNamasteWe know from our Vedic understanding that our soul incarnates in this lifetime into a body as a result of our accumulated past karmas of which the Natal chart is the manifestation hereof. So to optimise our well being, a healthy diet, practice of Yoga or Tai Chi and a satvic way of life is very important, hence the guidelines from the practice of Ayurveda nourish the Mind and Body. This Soul in the Body has to occupy some cosmic space, so the importance of adherence to Vastu guidlines is also important to limit any additional stress which we all know is quite rife nowadays.

One of the few thngs at our disposal where we can our exert our free will, is to change our immediate environment, so Vastu remedies also have to be looked at for behaviour patterns for hyperactivity and inactivity. Granted, that its difficult to observe perfect Vastu guidelines for the 'average city dweller', but the idea is to minimise the Vastu defects as far as possible.

If you consider a third of ones life is spent sleeping when the body uses its restful state to rejuvinate and heal itself naturally, sleeping in the correct direction is very very important. Generally, it is recommended for one to sleep with one's head facing South with a few exceptions. So Jyotish, Ayurveda and Vastu all has to be be considered to bring peace to the Mind, Body and Soul. They are inseperable, each with their own diagnostic tools but at the same time working in perfect harmony.

Jaya JagannathaDear Shiv,

NamasteOffering mantras during brhama muhurta naturally energises the body. Hence, early to bed deters malefics to overcome the body (kendras) and keeps them at bay and it is not jsyt the early bird that catches the worm, one naturally feels energised.

Optimism is caused by one's birth in a week day that is friendly with the Sun. You'll find that a person born on a Sunday morning is naturally optimistic if the Sun is well placed in the chart.

Birth that takes place during the different months all have spiritual energies related to the different Adityas. Taking mine as an example, I have the Sun in Meena and this relates to Vshnu Aditya. In my chart, it is in the 11th, hence a blend of energies with Tvastri Aditya is altered in the Ajna cakra. Since the Sun is weak in avastha and in vaiseshikamsa the practice of mauna for an hour everyday can help in the " porcupine chi " tendency. This is known as such because one's thoughts may become haphazard that presents itself in a vocal Freudian slip.

Light exercises are recommended. Unlike heavy weight exercises and chocolate and its artificially induced amphetamine (both do that), and the chemical form is being recommended for this child.

A good brain food is the walnut.

You may think he/she is lethargic when in fact they've been to the Sun and Moon and back several times in a day :)) so there's no secret to an early wake up call, which promotes the sattvic planets in your chart and take your life to the pinnacle of longevity.

Dear Sweeji,

Many thanks for your insightful detailed reply. Being a novice some

terms are unfamiliar to me, vaiseshikamsa, for example. It was

fascinating to see Sun's bhava position connected to Vishnu Aditya (

again I don't have idea how to arrive at that and what that means but

will try to find out) and the ultimate connection to the chakras.

Jyotish indeed is fascinating!. Your suggestions have been duly noted

and will try to carry them out diligently.

I believe technically Brahma Muhurta starts 2 hours before local Sunrise

time as shown in JHora and the Pratah Kala is the one hour period after

the Sunrise? Is it correct to say that during the Brahma Muhurta Sun

will be second house.

I did take some Ritalin myself for years and the only way that feeling

of calmness could be replicated later was through hard workouts (

punching a bag in this case). But that still left didn't bring any

motivation. Have tried some dynamic breathing after that. It is very

soothing to hear that motivation is perhaps more a quality of mind than

just the malefics in angles. I do have moon in cancer but on the Dasami

of Krishna Paksha. Also, birth was on Saturday close to midnight. I

suppose work to be done therefore to overcome these tendencies.

Thanks again

Dear Lakshmiji,

Thanks. My apologies for taking the space on this public forum for this

personal stuff. But if I may ask, how about Saturn when it is in

conjunction with ketu, in Gemini. Does that add some of these affects. (

Saturn is retro and in Cap. in D9). I do know that some famous people

like Indira Gandhi, Bill Clinton I believe, Sonia Gandhi too I suspect,

have this Saturn in lagna, so it can't be a generalization.

Dear Bipinji,

Many thanks for your valuable suggestions. Will look more into vastu and

Tai Chi. If I may ask for one clarification: about the head being in the

South direction. My impression all these years was reverse. Maybe it was

because I had read in the Ramayana that Ravana on the eve of his fatal

battle dreamt he was going in the south direction sitting on a donkey.

The impression that had stuck in my mind was that South direction was

considered 'bad' and therefore the feet should be there instead of the

head.

Thanks and regards to all you wonderful masters,

Shiv

Hi Guys,

This ADHD is of some interest to me. I have been

reading about ADHD for quite some time--at least for

five years--and I suspect that I was suffering from

ADHD in my childhood. Looking back, I feel that all my

struggles in studies were because of ADHD. At that

time I could not figure out what was happening to me

as I was not able to concentrate at all for 10 minutes

at a stretch. The motivation to do good in studies was

very high, so I devised a plan: I would learn things

by writing. It may sound weird but when I was writing

my attention appeared to be more focussed as compared

to merely reading the text book. So mathematics was

never a problem. However, mugging anything like

chemical equations, understanding optics by reading it

in the physics book, understanding English Grammar

(Advanced Grammar) was always challenging as my

thoughts would often wander. It was very very

difficult. So quite obviously I could not do very well

in studies. However, by the Grace of God, I seem to

have done very well in life if my achievements are

compared to my education. My colleagues often

compliment for my sharp brain in understanding quite

high-end technical concepts. However, I still find

very difficult to concentrate for long periods. I

still feel if medicines like Ritalin were around

during my childhood, I would have done far better in

my studies. I was reprimanded from every

quarter--teachers, parents and sometime I felt that

childhood was really very traumatic.

My astrological chart kind of corroborates ADHD.

Mercury the fifth lord is in the first house conjunct

with Mars, and Rahu. So Mercury is badly afflicted and

on top of it, it is combust. The fifth house

signification is also spoilt (if my education is any

indication to go by). In addition, Moon is in the

sixth house. Though full Moon, it has gone completely

malefic by the virtue of it being in the sixth house.

With this Moon, the second condition for ADHD is also

fulfilled.

I am in a profession where I have to ready and write

about high-end technology a lot. I guess it is my

sheer motivation to succeed that goads me to work very

hard. Because of lack of attention, I may be taking at

least three-fold more time to understand an issue if

compared to a guy who is having an equal IQ.

Just thought would share this with you guys...

Thanks for your time and space.

Hare Rama Krishna Dear Manoj, Thanks for sharing that , i would like to learn from your chart, can you please send the detials and also send the JH chart to me, can you please include significant educational milestones. thank-you LakshmiManoj Sharma <manojsharma662000 wrote: Hi Guys,This ADHD is of some interest to me. I have beenreading about ADHD for quite some time--at least forfive years--and I suspect that I was suffering fromADHD in my

childhood. Looking back, I feel that all mystruggles in studies were because of ADHD. At thattime I could not figure out what was happening to meas I was not able to concentrate at all for 10 minutesat a stretch. The motivation to do good in studies wasvery high, so I devised a plan: I would learn thingsby writing. It may sound weird but when I was writingmy attention appeared to be more focussed as comparedto merely reading the text book. So mathematics wasnever a problem. However, mugging anything likechemical equations, understanding optics by reading itin the physics book, understanding English Grammar(Advanced Grammar) was always challenging as mythoughts would often wander. It was very verydifficult. So quite obviously I could not do very wellin studies. However, by the Grace of God, I seem tohave done very well in life if my achievements arecompared to my education. My colleagues oftencompliment

for my sharp brain in understanding quitehigh-end technical concepts. However, I still findvery difficult to concentrate for long periods. Istill feel if medicines like Ritalin were aroundduring my childhood, I would have done far better inmy studies. I was reprimanded from everyquarter--teachers, parents and sometime I felt thatchildhood was really very traumatic. My astrological chart kind of corroborates ADHD.Mercury the fifth lord is in the first house conjunctwith Mars, and Rahu. So Mercury is badly afflicted andon top of it, it is combust. The fifth housesignification is also spoilt (if my education is anyindication to go by). In addition, Moon is in thesixth house. Though full Moon, it has gone completelymalefic by the virtue of it being in the sixth house. With this Moon, the second condition for ADHD is alsofulfilled. I am in a profession where I have to ready and writeabout high-end

technology a lot. I guess it is mysheer motivation to succeed that goads me to work veryhard. Because of lack of attention, I may be taking atleast three-fold more time to understand an issue ifcompared to a guy who is having an equal IQ. Just thought would share this with you guys...Thanks for your time and space.MS--- Shiv <theblisswithin > wrote:> Dear Sweeji,> Many thanks for your insightful detailed reply.> Being a novice some> terms are unfamiliar to me, vaiseshikamsa, for> example. Jaya JagannathaDear Shiv,NamasteWill answer the questions posed to me:Vaiseshikamsa - strength of a planet plotted to 10 divisional charts (vargas).Adityas: The 12 Adityas took birth on earth to help cleanse the overburden. Their order according to Vishnu Purana and Mahabharata are beginning from Aries/Mesha are:Dhata, Aryaman, Mitra, Varuna, Indra (the King of the suras/Devas), Vivasvan, Pushan, Parjanya, Amsha, Bhaga, Tvastri and Vishnu.Brahma muhurta - 1 muhurta is 24 minutes and 1 sandhya = 48minutes and it is two sandhyas before sunrise is the brahma muhurta = 96 mins = 1 hour 36 minutes. It has been said that 100% rejuvenating benefits is obtained if chanting is done during Brahma muhurta. The dead of night (midnight) and 4am wake up call are the two vital longevity  junctures. But chanting is naturally never offered during midnight for this purpose.Karate exerts your force outwardly while in Tai Chi, the "chi"/internal force is retained/stored at the savdhistana cakra and the invisible magnetic force is felt through the palms in the "push hand" movement.Vaastu, will have Bipin answer this for I too would like to know.love,SweeOn 14 May 2008, at 18:25, Shiv wrote:Dear Sweeji,Many thanks for your insightful detailed reply. Namaste Sirji,

Vastu is not only related to Astrology and Ayurveda but also to music and yoga.

Astrologically the vastu can be explained as under

the shape of the house with its cuts and extension is like your natural horoscope with which we are born - that which cannot be changed. The cuts and the extensions to directions create cut and extension to the 12 houses of the natural horoscope. According to this effect on a perticular house, the occupants get experience in life

It is said that 'Prarabdha - Purushartha - Vastu'. We cannot change our desitiny but we can change / alter the vastu in which we live / reside and hence it can be said the vastu is a means by which we can travel to reach our destiny. Hence a good vastu helps you to reach your destiny with ease and comfort faster and in better condition

With warm regards,

Jaydeep Kumbhani

They are inseperable, each with their own diagnostic tools but at the same time working in perfect harmony.Best WishesBipin

Jaya Jagannatha

Dear Shiv,

Namaste

Offering mantras during brhama muhurta naturally energises the body.

Since the Sun is weak in avastha and in vaiseshikamsa the practice of mauna for an hour everyday can help in the "porcupine chi" tendency. This is known as such because one's thoughts may become haphazard that presents itself in a vocal Freudian slip.

Light exercises are recommended. Unlike heavy weight exercises and chocolate and its artificially induced amphetamine (both do that), and the chemical form is being recommended for this child.

A good brain food is the walnut.

You may think he/she is lethargic when in fact they've been to the Sun and Moon and back several times in a day :)) so there's no secret to an early wake up call, which promotes the sattvic planets in your chart and take your life to the pinnacle of longevity.

love,

Swee

Hare Rama Krishna

Dear All

below is the data of my son who is about 18 years and was treated for

ADHD by doctors for the last one year. However, we did differ with

the doctors analysis though we went along with the medication given

by them. Not much benefit seen after the usage of the medication for

about an year. Would appreciate if you would analyse the data to

confirm the same.

Being a very recent starter of Vedic astrology thru SJC audios, I

Hare Rama Krsna ||Dear RUDR,There are many factors involved but here are my initial observations based on the rasi chart:Lagna lord Surya occupies lagna which is very good. This shows a very capable and intelligent person. Sun is conjoined 2nd and 10th lords creating a need to focus on finance and career. Mars aspects from the 10th house making the person quite energetic and flamboyent. Mars is placed in a Venusian sign and this is also the Arudha Lagna - the person will have a passionate nature but can come across as being quite coarse. Moon is in a creative watery sign so ensure that some art subjects are available. Here is the problem - the 4th lord of education is placed in

dusthana. The karaka for the 4th house is placed in dusthana. Vakra Shani occupies the 5th house of concentration and being karaka for the dusthana and also lord of the 6th house makes concentration very difficult.Fortunately all 3 of these factors are all involved with exalted Jupiter. 4th lord is conjoined Jupiter, Shani is disposited by Jupiter, and Moon is in parivartana with Jupiter. He needs to chant - Om Gurave Namah - morning and night for just ten to fifteen minutes to help his natural intelligence focus. Also, very important, make sure he does not take to much sugar (Jupiter in 12th) as this will contribute greatly to hyperactivity and inability to concentrate, and no smoking (Ketu in 12th).I have not gone into divisionals as there are no details about the person given to verify the charts, but definately D24 is not correct (Jupiter in Pisces in the 4th

house).Respectfully,Michalrudr_g <rudr_g Sent: Monday, May 19, 2008 3:06:03 AM[Om Krishna Guru] Re: [Jaya Jagannatha] Remedy for ADHDHare Rama Krishna

Om Namo Bhagavate Param GuraveDear MichalNamasteFurther to your analysis, with Sun being the ultimate indicator for good health and in this case being strong in Lagna, one would expect good health and vitality, but it receives drishti from Rahu in 6H which may be influencing this 'perceived' condition.

Concentration is also to do with the mind and we see here that Moon is in maran, but its in exchange with exalted Jupiter. Further Moon is also in Poorvabhadra ruled by Jupiter, so maybe this is a clue to something.

As much as we look at Lagna from the physical aspect, we should also analyse the chart from the Moon for this type of perceived condition. Judging from the Moon, we get Su, Ve and Vakra Me in 6H of health receiving aspect from Shani and drishti from Rahu further compounding the house of health.

Im not convinced that ADHD is a medical or psychological disorder. Its a case of society wanting these type of kids to conform to social norms. The school systems are often not well equiped with teaching methods to address children with an abundance of energy. So because of society not wanting to go the extra mile to provide a suitable environment, they (as in the pharmaceautical companies) have supposedly found a drug to suppress the symptoms, but not solving the problem and for how long can the symptoms be suppressed without the side efects. Now one must remember that all drugs go through trials which is based on a probability of efficacy of the drug on a larger percentage of the sample used. Granted that if their is a deficiency, the 'drug' will replace it, but what about the other percentage that failed the trials who are receiving the side effects. Its really sad when the schools and psychologists who prey on the insecurity of the parents to force them into agreeing to use Ritalin.

Please point out any shortcomings in my understanding.Best WishesBipin /05/2008, Michal Dziwulski <nearmichal wrote:

Hare Rama Krsna ||Dear RUDR,There are many factors involved but here are my initial observations based on the rasi chart:

Lagna lord Surya occupies lagna which is very good.

Here is the problem - the 4th lord of education is placed in dusthana. The karaka for the 4th house is placed in dusthana. Vakra Shani occupies the 5th house of concentration and being karaka for the dusthana and also lord of the 6th house makes concentration very difficult.

Fortunately all 3 of these factors are all involved with exalted Jupiter. 4th lord is conjoined Jupiter, Shani is disposited by Jupiter, and Moon is in parivartana with Jupiter. He needs to chant - Om Gurave Namah - morning and night for just ten to fifteen minutes to help his natural intelligence focus. Also, very important, make sure he does not take to much sugar (Jupiter in 12th) as this will contribute greatly to hyperactivity and inability to concentrate, and no smoking (Ketu in 12th).

I have not gone into divisionals as there are no details about the person given to verify the charts, but definately D24 is not correct (Jupiter in Pisces in the 4th house).Respectfully,Michal

Om Namo Bhagavate Param guraveDear MichalNamasteFurther to my email, Mars when reckoned from moon, also aspects all those 6H planets, so too many malefics aspecting on th 6H which is highlighting this setback. For some reason, the strong sun still intrigues me, so im not sure if strengthening the Sun will help.

Dear Michal

I am sorry if there was a confusion, but the Lagna would be Aquarius

for the time of birth. The timing is 06:15:49 pm (and not am).

To give additional details on the native, the child has been 'active'

during his childhood. I use the word 'active' and not over-active as

we, the parents have not seen any over-active behaviour during his

childhood. This was one of the reasons I had not accepted the ADHD

theory of the doctors. In the past few years (from 2000 onwards), he

has been lacking concentration and has not been able to focus his

attention on the study material. However, we had to get along with

the treatement as the child was appearing the high school examination

this year and we did not want to take much chances.

The child appeared for the exam in the month of March 2008 (16 -

28th) and has failed in one subject when the results were announced

on the 3rd of May 2008.

The child also met with a serious leg injury in the year 2000 due to

which he was bedridden for over 3 months.

He was away from the parents in a boarding school for the last 2

years (from 2006 - 2008).

lords creating a need to focus on finance and career. Mars aspects

from the 10th house making the person quite energetic and

flamboyent. Mars is placed in a Venusian sign and this is also the

Arudha Lagna - the person will have a passionate nature but can come

across as being quite coarse. Moon is in a creative watery sign so

ensure that some art subjects are available.

Shani occupies the 5th house of concentration and being karaka for

the dusthana and also lord of the 6th house makes concentration very

difficult.

Jupiter. 4th lord is conjoined Jupiter, Shani is disposited by

Jupiter, and Moon is in parivartana with Jupiter. He needs to chant -

Om Gurave Namah - morning and night for just ten to fifteen minutes

to help his natural intelligence focus. Also, very important, make

sure he does not take to much sugar (Jupiter in 12th) as this will

contribute greatly to hyperactivity and inability to concentrate, and

no smoking (Ketu in 12th).

Hare Rama Krsna ||Dear Bipin,I agree with your statements about modern society inability to deal with children who do not fit well within the staus quo, curriculum etc. However I wouldn't go as far as saying it is not an actual medical condition as I am not qualified. Many troubled children would benefit from simple environmental and social changes such as switching of the televison. That much I'm sure we can agree on.My question regarding your analysis:Are you saying the 6th house from the Moon shows the health of the mind?I'm not sure if that is correct, though to be honest I don't know for sure. 7th from Moon shows the people you associate with, your community.

4th from Moon can show health overall (especially in Navamsa). The chart in question has Sun (karaka for health), Venus, and Mercury in the 6th which does not seem so bad. It has rasi drsti of Rahu and graha drsti of Mars. Saturn does not aspect the 6th from Moon. I would need further convincing. I feel the real problem is vakra Shani in the 5th house - disabling the proper functioning of the citta. There is bandhana yoga by Mars and Rahu from the Moon.Respectfully,MichalBipin Prag <bipinprag Cc: Sent: Monday, May 19, 2008 10:06:23 PMRe: [Om Krishna Guru] Re: [Jaya Jagannatha] Remedy

for ADHDOm Namo Bhagavate Param GuraveDear MichalNamasteFurther to your analysis, with Sun being the ultimate indicator for good health and in this case being strong in Lagna, one would expect good health and vitality, but it receives drishti from Rahu in 6H which may be influencing this 'perceived' condition. Judging

from the Moon, we get Su, Ve and Vakra Me in 6H of health receiving aspect from Shani and drishti from Rahu further compounding the house of health. Granted that if their is a deficiency, the

'drug' will replace it, but what about the other percentage that failed the trials who are receiving the side effects. Its really sad when the schools and psychologists who prey on the insecurity of the parents to force them into agreeing to use Ritalin. Please point out any shortcomings in my understanding.Best WishesBipin /05/2008, Michal Dziwulski <nearmichal > wrote:Hare Rama Krsna ||Dear

Hare Rama Krsna ||Dear RUDR,He has been running Mercury dasa, Venus antardasa, followed by Sun antardasa. All these planets are situated in the 7th house which could indicate the source of the distraction. Mars and Rahu are negatively influencing the 4th house of education, which can upset the grades at school, but there is little evidence for ADHD.Saturn Atmakaraka in the 11th house shows he would do well to study Jyotish.Respectfully,Michalrudr_g <rudr_gTo:

> Lagna lord Surya occupies lagna which is very good. This shows a

very capable and intelligent person. Sun is conjoined 2nd and 10th

lords creating a need to focus on finance and career.

>

> Here is the problem - the 4th lord of education is placed in

dusthana. The karaka for the 4th house is placed in dusthana. Vakra

Shani occupies the 5th house of concentration and being karaka for

the dusthana and also lord of the 6th house makes concentration very

difficult.

> Fortunately all 3 of these factors are all involved with exalted

Om Namo Bhagavate Paramgurave.Dear MichalNamasteThanks for pointing out my slight error. What I meant was that that according to Parashara one has to look at a chart from Lagna, Chandra Cahrt and Surya Chart, but I will have to look at this chart all over again - cos ive used am instead of pm as pointed out.

I agree, a change in environment using Vastu guidelines and a change in diet using Ayurvedic Guidelines always help minimise any disturbances. Best WisehsBipin On 19/05/2008, Michal Dziwulski <nearmichal wrote:

Hare Rama Krsna ||Dear Bipin,I agree with your statements about modern society inability to deal with children who do not fit well within the staus quo, curriculum etc. However I wouldn't go as far as saying it is not an actual medical condition as I am not qualified.

Many troubled children would benefit from simple environmental and social changes such as switching of the televison. That much I'm sure we can agree on.My question regarding your analysis:Are you saying the 6th house from the Moon shows the health of the mind?

I'm not sure if that is correct, though to be honest I don't know for sure.

There is bandhana yoga by Mars and Rahu from the Moon.Respectfully,Michal

Please point out any shortcomings in my understanding.Best WishesBipin /05/2008, Michal Dziwulski <nearmichal > wrote:

Jaya JagannathaDear MichalNamasteMy question regarding your analysis:Are you saying the 6th house from the Moon shows the health of the mind?I'm not sure if that is correct, though to be honest I don't know for sure.  7th from Moon shows the people you associate with, your community.  4th from Moon can show health overall (especially in Navamsa).  6th from Moon show mother's ills.love,SweeOn 19 May 2008, at 12:58, Michal Dziwulski wrote:Hare Rama Krsna ||Dear Bipin,I agree with your statements about modern society inability to deal with children who do not fit well within the staus quo, curriculum etc. There is bandhana yoga by Mars and Rahu from the Moon.Respectfully,MichalBipin Prag <bipinprag (AT) grouply (DOT) com> Cc: Sent: Monday, May 19, 2008 10:06:23 PMRe: [Om Krishna Guru] Re: [Jaya Jagannatha] Remedy for ADHDOm Namo Bhagavate Param GuraveDear MichalNamasteFurther to your analysis, with Sun being the ultimate indicator for good health and in this case being strong in Lagna, one would expect good health and vitality, but it receives drishti from Rahu in 6H which may be influencing this 'perceived' condition. Please point out any shortcomings in my understanding.Best WishesBipin /05/2008, Michal Dziwulski <nearmichal > wrote:Hare Rama Krsna ||Dear RUDR,There are many factors involved but here are my initial observations based on the rasi chart:Lagna lord Surya occupies lagna which is very good. Here is the problem - the 4th lord of education is placed in dusthana.  The karaka for the 4th house is placed in dusthana. Also, very important, make sure he does not take to much sugar (Jupiter in 12th) as this will contribute greatly to hyperactivity and inability to concentrate, and no smoking (Ketu in 12th).I have not gone into divisionals as there are no details about the person given to verify the charts, but definately D24 is not correct (Jupiter in Pisces in the 4th house).Respectfully,Michalrudr_g <rudr_g & gt;To: Monday, May 19, 2008 3:06:03 AM[Om Krishna Guru] Re: [Jaya Jagannatha] Remedy for ADHDHare Rama KrishnaDear Allbelow is the data of my son who is about 18 years and was treated for ADHD by doctors for the last one year. Hare Rama Krishna

Dear Michal

considering that the Me MD will run till 2018 and Sun AD will run

till end of the year (30th Nov), is there a remedy the native can

adopt to reduce the distraction? Also since the child would be re-

appearing for the exam in the AD of Sun would it be advisable to read

Aditya Hridayam (by the parent?)

could indicate the source of the distraction. Mars and Rahu are

negatively influencing the 4th house of education, which can upset

the grades at school, but there is little evidence for ADHD.
