Guest guest
Jaya JagannathaDear Bharti,NamasteIn the classics, it is said that when a malefic traverses in your 10th, one goes on a pilgrimage. From shukla dasami until krishna tritya are the most portent tithis. Several puranani have mentioned that from shukla dasami , Ganga descends on earth to give the earthlings its blessings. Hence, for ten days, it comes down to earth, 10 days, it goes to the netherworld and the other ten, it goes to devaloka.Muhurta should be gentle and Leo is not particularly that. Virgo might be a better one, but you could always opt for the day and begin your journey during it's ghatika.Abhijeet is also a good time to begin, except Wednesdays.I am also going to Haridwar, Rishikesh and Badrinath beginning my journey on Shukla Chaturdashi on Vijaya tithi during Shiva yoga - 15th JuneGood luck with your pilgrimage.love,SweeOn 19 May 2008, at 11:21, Bharti Suri wrote:Respected Gurujans,Namaskar,After much deliberations , i have concluded on one muhurta for undertaking pilgrimage with my family . Only problem is saturn in lagna but i hope sun in 11th and jup in kona will remove any dosha . Guest guest
Respected Swee Guruji, Namaskar, Many thanks for your prompt reply . Infact , we were also planning to start on 15th june night or 16 early morning for badrinath , i am a beginner so i was trying to apply all the principles for muhurta available in books . I saw ck replacement between mars and jup on 15th june muhurta and so had my doubts. For muhurta lagna , i tried to apply the principle that it should not fall in 1,5,7,9 from natal lagna , maybe thats applying too much of theory! Ok , so will it be fine if i also start for badrinath pilgrimage on 15th june night or 16th june morning without considering ck replacements and adjusting lagna favourable to each of us (in that case taurus, gemini or libra muhurta asc would be good enough)? Pardon me for being bookish , what are the most imp relevant considerations that one needs to check before starting a journey ? I hope to seek your further help regarding this . Final word from you and i will pack my bags to start on 15th/16th june . Thanks a lot , Regards, Bharti , Swee Chan <swee wrote: > > > Jaya Jagannatha > > Dear Bharti, > Namaste > > In the classics, it is said that when a malefic traverses in your > 10th, one goes on a pilgrimage. > From shukla dasami until krishna tritya are the most portent tithis. > Several puranani have mentioned that from shukla dasami , Ganga > descends on earth to give the earthlings its blessings. Guest guest
Jaya JagannathaDear Bharti,NamasteIn fact I am starting my journey technically on 7th June. Days that are considered inauspicious are:caturthi, shashti, astami, navami, dwadashi and caturdashi. In consideration of nakshatras to travel there are many. It is easier to choose weekdays:Avoid: East on Monday and SaturdayAvoid: South on ThursdayAvoid: West on Friday and SundayAvoid: North on Wednesday and Tuesdaythough Anuradha, Hasta, Pushya and Ashwini are good for all the directions. Before and during a journey, I always say my two syllabic mantra and leave it to Sri Krishna's will since I would have already visited my Guru before I leave for Haridwar.love,SweeOn 19 May 2008, at 16:53, Bharti Suri wrote:Respected Swee Guruji,Namaskar,Many thanks for your prompt reply .
