To find out whether this combination will cause VRY or not, we need to examine the weaknesses of these planets. Mars being 10th Lord, exalted, and also being in trines to Navamsa Lagna (NL) is quite strong. Saturn being Lagnesh and Lord of 7th from GL sitting in its own sign in Capricorn and being NL Lord and sitting in a kendra from NL is also quite strong. Further, these planets have been conjoined by Venus, a Yoga Karaka ( 4th and 9th Lord). Hence, there does not seem to be any VRY in this chart. Four planets conjoined together normally indicates Pravarajya Yoga. However, since such conjunction is not in a kendra in this chart, the Pravarajya Yoga also may not be effective. The chart is, otherwise, very strong to give Rajyog as per the following :- 1) AL is in Sagittarius having Sun, the Lord of GL and Mercury. Jupiter, the Lord of AL is sitting in the 10th house from AL in Virgo and is also aspecting AL with Sun and Mercury. Jupiter is also the Lord of HL and sitting opposite to it and aspecting it (Rasi Dristi and Graha Dristi). It is also aspecting Saturn (the Lagna Lord and the Lord of 7th from GL ) by Graha Dristi. 2) Further, in the Dasamsa chart also, Jupiter is very strongly placed as being the 7th Lord and 10th Lord he is sitting in the 9th house (in Aquarius, a sign which gives results akin to the sign of its exaltation).
