Guest guest
JAYA JAGANNATHA! Dear Gurudeva and Jyotihsa, Pranaams. Hereby I attempt of the analysis of Rajayogas and Pravrajya yogas from my chart. Date of Birth: January 9, 1971 Time of Birth: 7:40:00 pm Time Zone of Birth: 1:00 East of GMT Longitude of Birth: 19 E 04 Latitude of Birth: 47 N 30 Planet Position Pada CharaK Ascdt 5 Le 23 Makha 2 - Sun 25 Sg 23 Poo.Shaa. 4 BK Moon 4 Ge 39 Mrigasira 4 GK Mars 28 Li 09 Visakha 3 AK Mercury 4 Sg 31 Moola 2 DK Jupiter 5 Sc 44 Anuradha 1 PK Venus 9 Sc 02 Anuradha 2 PiK Saturn ® 22 Ar 18 Bharani 3 MK Rahu 2 Aq 02 Dhanishtha 3 AmK Ketu 2 Le 02 Makha 1 - BhavaLg 26 Ge 31 Punarvasu 2 - HoraLg 28 Sg 09 U.Shaa. 1 - GhatiLg 3 Cn 05 Punarvasu 4 - +----------------------+ | | | | Moo | | | | | | | | SatR | | Glk | | | | | | | | | | BL | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | | | | | | GL | | Rah | | | | | | Mnd | | | | | |-------------| R A S I |-------------| | | | | | | | Ket | | | | | | | | Asc | | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | Mer | | | | | | Jup | | | | Sun | | Mar | | | | Ven | | | | HL | | | | +----------------------+ +----------------------+ | | | | | | | | Glk BL | | | | Ket | | Mar | | | | Asc Mer | | | | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | | | | | | | | | | GL | | | | | | | | | |-------------| N A V A M S A |-------------| | | | | | | | | | | | Jup | | | | | | | | | |-------------|---------------------------|-------------| | | | | | | | Moo | SatR | Mnd | | HL | | | | | | Sun | Rah | Ven | | | | | | +----------------------+ Yoga Karaka for Leo Lagna is Mars, which is lord of 4th Scorpio (with Jupiter and Venus) and 9th Aries (with debilitated Saturn). Mars is in the 3rd house, under the Rasi Dristi os Rahu and Ketu and Graha Dristi of Saturn. Ths would at most give some spiritual authority, as Mars is Atmakarak. The 5th lord Jupiter is in conjunction woth the 9th lord Venus in the 4th. This is considered by Maharishi Parashara as a Rajyoga. The effect of this have begun manifest during Jupiter-Venus Dasa in the form of some fame. But the Buddha-Aditya yoga in the 5th seems to be more important, as Sun is lord of Lagna, and Mercury is lord of Karakamsha Lagna. I think thta this would also make me famous as a learned and spiritual man. However, there's no strong relationship between AK Mars and PK Jupiter, or Lagna lord Sun and 5th lord Jupiter. Therefore the effect will be limited. The 9th lord and the AK is Mars, and he is in the 5th from Karkamsha Lagna (Gemini). This would form a Rajyoga as well, however, the only benefic asecting him is Ketu. Rahu tends to limit the effect of this Rajyoga as well. There is no Kevala Yogada aspecting Lagna, HL and GL or the 7th from them, therefore Rajyoga in this way is not formed, and this limits the effects of the other Rajyogas as well. In almost all of the Sadvargas (excepting Navamsha) Ketu is either conjunct or aspects Lagna. This would form almost a Rajyoga, again spiritually. NOTE: Shlokas 13-14 in the Rajyogaadhyaaya of BPHS are suggestive of the usage of Parivrittidwaya Hora, otherwise there would be no practical sense of the yoga mentioned! AL and A & in 3/11 from each other is also considered to be a Rajyoga. The strength of initiation of a Rajyoga is due to the strength of the Sun, which is all right in my chart, but the Moon is not so strong, especially as she is debilitated and conjunct the Sun in Navamsha. Therefore the sustenance of the Rajyogas is not so strong. The perfect Upaye for this si chanting the Mah-mantra, so since I'm doing that, my Rajyogas get strengthened. Also Saturn in debilitation in AL harms the Rajyogas (it may cause ill-fame). But Saturn is also lord of the 6th so this weakens my enemies. Vipareeta Rajyoga is caoused by the conjunction f Venus (3rd lord) and Jupiter (6th lord). As they are in the 4th house, they may indicate gain of landed property or house doe to the fall or death of some relative (most probably mother in this case). This was exactly what happened in Jup.-Venus Antardasa. Although the house is not very big, as may be seen from the ebove considerations regarding the effects of Rajyogas, it was gained in the consequence of my mother's death and my father's paying off my share of the inheritance. Typicaly, Venus is the Chara Pitrikarak, and Saturn from the 9th aspects the whole combination, thereby signifying father's role in it. Mars is the Sthira Matrukarak in the 12th from it, showing loss of mother. The above mantioned Vipareeta Rajyoga-Karakas are strong benefics in Kendras, however, they are not in direct Sambandha with either the Lagnesh or the Atmakarak. But they are in the sign of AK and disposit the Lagnesh, plus aspect the AL by Rasi Drishti. Thus, although the yoga did not give much result regarding my personal position, it gave more result regarding the image of myself (AL), i.e. my body, as I moved from the temple where I lived before to the house. Saturn is also involved, as he is in the AL. The 3rd from AL is ocuppied by the Moon. This would be a Pravrajya yoga should the Moon be strong. But we have seen above that the Moon is weakened in Navamsha, so this would rather give a Vipareeta Rajyoga, possibly connected to the death of my mother. In the reality I joined ISKCON and became a devotee livig in a temple and following brahmacarya (a situation befitting Pravrajya yoga) at the time of my mother's death. So this would be a Vipareeta Pravrajya yoga, hence the Moon should be considered more a malefic than a benefic. Although she is opposite the Sun in Rasi, she is the 12th lord, therby becoming functionally malefic, and she is also conjunct the Sun in Navamsha, wheer the Moon becomes malefic. Thus, simultaneously being in debility, she caused Vipareeta Pravrajya yoga to fructify. Gemini with Moon is also the 2nd house from Upapada, thus it may indicate the rise of the Vipareeta Pravrajya yoga once more in connection with the death of the spouse (Mercury dispositing and aspecting the sign is Chara Darakarak) if we consider the Moon as above to be malefic. Mercury is not combust, and the Sun can be also considered a malefic regarding Pravrajya. The timinf ro this would be Mercury-Moon Antardasa in 2032. Let's live to see what happens then. This is my analysis. Please evaluate. I will also evaluate the answers sent by others to question #3 either today or tomorrow. Guest guest
Dear Karu, Namaste. > Jaya Jaya Jagannath, > Namasthe Gauranga, > > Just for my understanding about Argala, what you think about Sun and > Mercury's (BA yoga) argala on present MD and AD lord ? In between material and spiritual > rise ? Thanks for the feedback. I need it so much. I have to be honest, I dodn't delve so much into the usage of Argala so far, and Lord Jagannath is giving more and more signs thet I have to learn and use it. Your observation explains more my involvement in Jyotish in Jupiter-Venus. My guess is that I'm forced to use Jyotish with spiritual motivations only and I have to find the link between the spiritual and material sides. I don't really find a contradiction or a pull-and-push effect, as I try to subordinate all the sides of my life to Krishna. But I think that both the Argala and the obstruction will work, although from Jaimini's sources of strength Mars as the AK should be stronger that the BA yoga. I'm looking forward to more feedback on this interesting question. Yours, Gauranga das
