Guest guest
Vasumat means 'wealthy' or 'rich' in Sanskrit. It is a type of dhana yoga or wealthy producing yoga. The classic text, Phaladeepika, describes it by saying:When all the auspicious planets are posited in upachaya houses (3, 6, 10, 11) whether reckoned from the ascendant or the Moon, the resulting yoga is called Vasumat. If in any nativity the Vasumat Yoga is formed then the native concerned will confine himself to his house and be wealthy. Phaladeepika ch 6. verse 20, 21. The 11th house is well known as a house of wealth, but not the 3rd, 6th, or 10th. Combinations of these houses do not form dhana yogas. However, the vasumati yoga is an exception. Also the dhimant yoga is formed when lagnesh is associated with 3or 6 houses which are generally considered not good houses.
