Dear Phyl,

Your honesty should be an inspiration for the others in this list who

have yet to respond. These initial lessons are the derivation of Vedic

Astrology from The Spiritual texts as has been done by Parasara. In fact if

Jyotish is a Vedanga (Limb of the Veda) then it must have a strong spiritual

leaning.

 

In the initial chapters we shall be working towards ACTUALLY DERIVING

THE BASICS, WHICH EVERYBODY HAS TAKEN FOR GRANTED. These are questions like:

1.Why are there 12 houses?

2.Why are there Guna's and what do they mean?

3.What do the deities represent?

4.What is the real essence of trines and Quadrants. What is the significance

of the Luminaries in this?

5.To what extent can Man control his destiny?

6. Why do only three planets have special aspects? And how do we determine

these aspects?

7. What is the meaning of Upachaya? What are its implications?

8. Why do Sun & moon have Yoga's associated with the 2nd & 12th houses?

9. What is the importance of the sun in Rajyoga?

10. What is the significance of the moon in Dhana Yoga?

......This list is endless. The lessons shall be to the point and it is hoped

that with some practise the terms etc will become more familiar as the

knowledge seeps in. Individual effort is important. Please keep a diary

where the technical terms and their meanings can be noted down so that they

become easier to handle.

Greetings Sanjay,

 

The reason you have not heard from me is because of my confusion. There

must be something I have missed in order to begin the homework. Where is the

starting point? The last lesson I down loaded means nothing to me. I don't

know where or how to apply it. There were four sections in the lesson naming

the gods I believe but I have no idea what to DO with this information or

how it applies.

 

I'm hoping to gain some insight to what is expected.

 

Thank you for asking why we are all sleeping because I have been thinking

the problem is totally mine, may be it isn't.

 

I do look forward to hearing from you soon.

Dear Jyotisha

 

A) I have taken so many students into SJVC with the hope that one day all

of

them will be top class Daivagyna who will guide this world towards the

Light

of truth. Yet, the response from most is negligible if not at all. When

such

exercises are conducted, you all are expected to pitch in your entire

effot,

to ask what ever questions you want a clarification for. Both Narasimha &

I

have made so many statements in a recent exercise on Navamsa correction.

please check these in the Jaimini Sutra, BPHS personally.

 

B) At least try these out in your own chart. Do not worry, at least the

truth about yourself is not hidden from you or from Jagannath Who sits in

your heart. So, please study the two navamsa possibilities and give me a

list of arguments for or against each. Do not get emotional and be free to

write anything.

 

C) Please work on the assignment given to you. I am surprised to see the

poor response to the Lessons. If you did not like it, please write to me.
