a basic book on vedic astrology

Dear Group Members,

 

as a yogi and a person interested in all kinds of vaidika and agama

science I was eager to learn something about the basic principles of

hindu astronomy and astrology. For this purpose I purchased " the crux

of vedic astrology " by Sanjay Rath, but it was like higher physics to

me - I didn't understand a word of it. Moreover, I'd like to have an

optical idea of how the planets move in regard to the stars etc., so

some pictures and accurate descriptions of the corresponding sky views

would be good for this purpose. Is anybody of You in a position to

recommend a good book, which would more or less meet these

requirements? Can perhaps anyone send me some material of this kind

per e-mail?
