Dear Vish,

Namaste

Not from

my experience. I have had reports from several when they have met with negative

people at meetings or conferences and their gemstone have turned a cloudy. When

this happens, one requires a new one. Just remember that gemstones have that

ability to absorb so much negativity.

Seeing the

original title, it also confirms that a gemstone should be worn round the neck.

After all, why would we allow an enemy to see what we are wearing so that they

know which ones maybe our functional malefics and one maybe prone to an attack.

Atharva Veda has a prayer to offer to the mani before installing to help in

such attacks. According to the hints from the prayer, the gemstone has the

ability to nullify the 53 types of such abhichara.

Love,

Swee

Well Raja

As far as I know, the heated stones show such change while the original

ones are known to maintain their color during all kinda circumstances.

swee and friends, I am not an expert but my great grand father was. we were always told to wear the gems in an open setting on fingers due to the pulse points. many times on wrist or on the arm as an amulet-not diamond, sapphire or ruby. But with exception of coral-which was worn around neck. yes-the gems cloud even if you are to fall sick or if there is going to be death anywhere within family. we wash it in turmeric poweder and milk and then hold it over smoke from frankincense-not change the stone.ruby is put in oil in sri lanka. I have seen the Buddhist priests doing it. in any case every 10-15 days we wash any stone or any spateek ( crystal)with rock salt and turmeric and hold it over a regular incense to purify it. I wear a sapphire-I have a regular 1.25 lakh japas done before I even ventured in doing this. br ashaSwee Chan
