How the data was made Atmkaaraka Probabilty Study

Namaste Jyotishas,

 

To help others get the data they want, let me explain how I got those

data.

 

I only used MS-Excel to get those results and did not use any program

or code. You can also use OpenOffice XL if you dont have MS-Excel.

 

 

Download the example program from the following locations at

www.astro.com

 

ftp://ftp.astro.com/pub/swisseph/sweph166/

 

You will find the swetest.exe an example program. Then at the command

prompt give the following command in Dos Prompt in " bin " folder of

where you unzip those above files.

 

swetest.exe -fPl -p0123456m <julians.txt >randompositions.txt

 

" -fPl " is for displaying only Planet and it's longitudes

" -p0123456m " is all the planets and mean nodes.

 

julians.txt contains list all julian dates

" < " command pipes in all those dates instead of somebody typing every

julian dates.

just give command in bin folder " swetest.exe -fPl -p0123456m " to see

an example.

 

All the outputs is send to " randompositions.txt " using the " > " pipe.

 

I did a series " search and replace " in randompositions.txt to insert

the XML tags and saved it as " positions.xml " file.

The XML file was then imported into Microsoft Excel.
