Would appreciate recommendation for gemstones. Currently I am wearing two Emerald stone(total 3 ratti) alongwith a diamond (.45) in centre in same SILVER ring in the smallest finger of right hand. This for for Mercury (Budh) which is Atmakarak and Venus (Shukra) which is the ruling planet. Should I increase the ratti for both since the degree of both the planets is at exreme low and high (Venus - 2 degrees and Mercury - 29 degree). I have been recommended to wear Neelam in middle right finger. Should I wear it? If yes then how many ratti and whether in SILVER or GOLD?. I believe my Shani MahaDasha would start in Nov-2011. Jupiter, Sun and Mars are functional malefic. Moon is Kendra lord, benefic only if conjoined with Mercury which is not the case in your chart. Venus is neutral. Ketu is co-lord 2H hence a marka. Rahu is 5L so good. Generally it helps to strengthen only functional benefic, leaving AK out. That leaves only Saturn i.e. Neelam. If you considering strengthening other planets, it should be done only after taking seeking advice from very good astrologers. Btw Neelam is worn in Silver in middle finger. Shani is a Yoga Karka and its dasa should be good. Also it is already is strong by being in own house! Hope this helps. So, I can wear Neelam in Silver in middle finger of Right hand to strengthen Shani which is YogKarak. Will strengthening it would impact any others house such as 7th (Marriage house) in any negative way? Also, what size Neelam should I wear? 2. It seems Rahu (which is in 8th house with Guru & Chandra) will do good for me. So, I guess I should NOT have any worries for next 2.5 years (Rahu AD in Guru's MD).? Saturn is in own-mooltrikona house so already strong, but you can wear Neelam if you wish. I do not think wearing it will have any adverse effect. I do not have enough knowledge to recommend size but weaker the planet greater is the size needed and in your case Saturn is not weak at all. 2. Rahu is in 8H and hence wearing its stone is not recommended. 3. Venus though lagna lord is also 8L and hence good to avoid the stone. It is vergottama and hence already strong. 4. Avoid Mercury stone because it is AK. It should be last resort, unless someone is a king, or is given a worthy gem.In Kali yuga it is hard to find the proper stone. Before gemstones, mantras should be used to alleviate karmas.Chanting mantras is a more active ,and billions of times more of an effective way of coping with life, not only the present, but the past life as well. In fact chanting mantras affects all past , present and future, and the wise person will have faith and chant mantras. When you leave your earthly body and possessions, what you take will be your spiritual bank account only. Aviod the vicious cycle of birth, old age, disease and death, and so many types of suffering. Mars is in 5H from lagna, 6th from Moon and 1st from Venus, which means kuja dosha only from Venus but that gets cancelled because Mars is in own rashi. Moon is debilitated too plus aspected by Mars. Please verify the chart, birth details once again. If above placements are right, wearing Coral is not advisable as it strengthens already strong mars which is impacting mind (weak Moon).
