In VRIA, on the topic of Gemmology, you mention on

Page 280 that no stones should be used in tarjani or

index finger as it is considered inauspicious because

of " Ahamkara " stemming from it. However, planets

belonging to the Moksha trikona of 8th, 12th and 4th

houses, though generally not prescribed are to be worn

in the index figer only.

 

In Palmistry, the index finger is attributed to

Jupiter, the middle finger to Saturn, the ring finger

to Sun and the little finger to Mercury. Rahu which

behaves like Saturn is attributed to the middle

finger. Mars to the ring finger as it belongs to Agni

tatwa and is friend of Sun.

 

Please find my chart below: I have Chandala Yoga

combination in the 6th house of my horoscope given

below. Jupiter is L6 and L9, Rahu is L8 and both are

conjunct in L6. I was asked to wear the Yellow

Sapphire (L9, L6) in Gold, Hessonite (L8) in Silver,

Red Coral (L5, L10) in Gold in the index finger,

middle finger and ring finger respectively.

 

The ownership of Rahu of Aquarius was not known to me

then in 1997 when I started wearing the gems.

Vimshottari dasha is applicable in my case and I am

presently running Rahu dasha and Mercury antar dasha.

Please comment on the above.
