Thank you very much for this gift. I hope that you will comment on each and

every word of

the Gita later on. Ifg you would give these thre immortal classics to the world

of Jyotish

(BPHS, UPSJ and the Gita), then this would be a really amtchless gift to

everyone. I was

trying to contemplate on the Atmakaraka in my chart, giving rise to any yogas. I

would

like to hear Your comments and those of other Jyotish Gurus upon them:

My Atmakaraka is Mars in Libra in 3rd house from Lagna, participating in a

parivartana

with Venus which is in the 3th Scorpio with Jupiter. So AK rules over 4th and

9th houses,

and is thus a Yogakarak planet. He is in 12th from the 4th house indicating

renunciation

of home, family happiness etc.? This is true, I became a monk in my Jupiter

dasa.

Mars is also lord of 9th house and AL there, so Rajyoga may coma about in the

field of

religiousness. But Vimsottari mahadasa of Mars was at my birth, so I was too

small. The

two Mahadasas ahead are those of Saturn and Mercury, neither of them are

involved very

much (at least in rasi chart) I expect to die in Ketu Mahadasa. Is this correct?

I tried

to look into Drig dasa, but no clear things for me are visible.

Navamsha: Atmakaraka is in Gemini, so period of Mercury may bring renounciation

ans

Mercury is in 12th from Karakamsha and Lagna is also there. You mentioned that

Ramakrishna

had a similar combination. So will this indicate renunciation? Does Ketu in 12th

from

lagna indicate a Moksha-yoga?

I'm also worried about deb. Saturn in rasi. Although his debility is cancelled

by

retrogression and exaltation in navamsha, still he may give difficulties in

Dharma in his

Mahadasa. What is Your opinion? The debility of Moon in Navamsha is a greater

trouble,

although She is lorded by the Atmakaraka. But how to improve on this weakness?

Your shishya,

OHM SHRI RAGAVENDRAYA NAMAH

JAYA JAGANNATHA

Namaste Gurudeva,

Thanks for this article, and I agree with Gauranga that Gita and BPHS needs

your input.

You mentioned several times that in order to under stand the various Kona

like Dharma, Artha etc. we should go through Gita. Then, once I sent an

e-mail to Gaurang asking for the slokas in reference to this. But, I

understood from him that it is not given separately and it is hidden through

out. So, a separate Gita explanation with Jyotish perspective is required.

Meanwhile, I am planning to note down all the questions raising when I read

GC Sharma's BPHS. When you plan to write the BPHS, I will send them to you.

So that it may help you to know the layman's ignorance, when he reads the

BPHS and that can be input into your work.

Thanks

Your sisya

Solai Kannan

Dear Gauranga,

Thank you for the inspiring words. I will not leave this planet wihout doing

this. Jaimini's work I have already translated and later this will have a

detailed commentary.

BPHS has started in a slow way and this has been my first touch of the

Gita.. a song that touches my soul like nothing else.. I am waiting for that

INSPIRATION..

With Best Wishes

Sanjay Rath

PS The AK is stronger than all other planets and that is why I was so

confident about debilitated Saturn not winning its diabolical objective

(Shyamasundara Prabhu missed this vital point).
