Guest guest
Namaste Gauranga: Please accept my dandavats and congratulation for your work, while I was reading I found interesting The following You said : 'Alongside the observation to the above three factors, there's room for research work and detailed explanation of Jyotish principles, because the classic works are not complete, as many parts of them have been lost, and on many topics they give only very short an concise explanations, which need elaboration to become actually applicable. ' I understand that Ayur Vedic Medicine split from Vedas and Jyotish more than three thousand years ago as a result Ayur Vedic Medicine had suffer a great set back , know a days Modern Ayur Veda is attempting to reunite those lost principles , I am firmly convince that without Jyotish Ayur Veda won't be of much use to any one and what its worst it may fall in the HANDS OF RAKSHASAs like mentallity, by doing so many consetions to be accepted by Allopathic Medicine, a risk loosing their real Goal , know you mentioned that the following Rasis Tula= Tridhatu Makara = Vata Kumbha = Tridhatu Mithuna = Tridhatu Kanya = Vata could you please explain from where have you got this information thank you in advance for your kind information. in the service of Sri Guru and Gauranga Chaitanya S. das varahamihira, " Gauranga Das " <gauranga@b...> wrote: > Dear members, > > Namaste. > > IPlease visit my new website at WWW.BRIHASPATI.NET ! > > My URL is not yet redirected, so for the time being you will find it at > www.brihaspatinet.atfreeweb.com but hopefully the domain name will be redirected in a few > hours. > > The website is created by me and Swee Chan, an expert in planetary gemology and Yantra > remedies. Guest guest
JAYA JAGANNATHA! Dear prabhu, Hare Krishna. > Namaste Gauranga: > > Please accept my dandavats and congratulation for your work, while I > was reading > I found interesting The following > > You said : 'Alongside the observation to the above three factors, > there's room for research work and detailed explanation of Jyotish > principles, because the classic works are not complete, as many parts > of them have been lost, and on many topics they give only very short > an concise explanations, which need elaboration to become actually > applicable. So you are in the best place to ask questions about these topics in the SKVC classroom. as both Narasimha and Brendan are very much into Ayurveda. I also have some interest although not as wide knowledge as they have. > know you mentioned that the following Rasis > > > Tula= Tridhatu > Makara = Vata > Kumbha = Tridhatu > Mithuna = Tridhatu > Kanya = Vata This is from BPHS. B.V. Raman also gives a grading to Rasi and Grahas representing Dhatus, but it's slightly different. It's interesting that earthly signsi represent Vaata Dhatu. I was always wandering why Vaata was situated at the bottom of the body, close to the root chakra, which is lorded by Mercury (Prithivi Tattwa). Airy signs seem to represent the mixture of three Doshas (and I guess the three of them would represent the predominance of one Dosha respectively.) Vayu Tattwa is the one moving everything around including the three doshas. Another thought: we have three types of Prakruti constitutions: 1. One Dosha dominating: Pitta or Kapha or Vaata 2. Two Doshas dominating: six of them 3. Three doshas almost equal (still one of them is slightly more) Thus three of them again. This is 12 altoghether. My guess is that the three fiery signs would represent three of the above types: Dominant Pitta and dwidoshic persons with Pitta-Vaata and Pitta-Kapha (both cases Pitta dominating) Watery signs the same: Pure Kapha and Kapha-Pitta plus Kapha-Vaata Earthly signs: Pure Vaata and Vaata-Pitta plus Vaata-Kapha Airy signs: Tridosha types, but one with a little predominance of Pitta, the other with kapha, the third with Vaata. Now how to distribute these types amongst the three sings of each group? The Gunas should be involved somehow. Am I correct in linking Rajas with Pitta, Tamas with Kapha and Sattwa with Vaata? The we have the follwing list: Aries: Pure Pitta Taurus: Vaata-Kapha Gemini: Tridosha with Vaata dominance Cancer: Kapha-Pitta Virgo: Pure Vaata Libra: Tridosha with Pitta dominance Scorpio: Pure Kapha Sagittarius: Pitta-Vaata Capricorn: Vaata-Pitta Aquarius: Tridosha with kapha dominance Pisces: Kapha-Vaata Of course this does not mena that someone's Prakruti may be solely determined based on his Lagna or paaka lagna. It should be more complex, involving the Sun, Moon, the planets conjoining and the Nakshatras I guess. I'm interested in the comments of the respected Jyotish Gurus.
