Guest guest
Dear Gurus, I read the discussion on colours of devis with some interest and remembered someone had said that the supreme energy is colourless. Could different colours represent different energies and vibrations, just as grahas represent different energies and colours? Don't they say that the entire universe is a vibration? Deities of different hues, representing different vibrations can be invoked by different mantras again representing different vibrations. " Even those sounds that are not meaningful words form a direct connection with our emotions.....Just as our mind may be healed by certain sounds (and colours?), so too, it may be wounded and brazed by others. Just as certain sounds (and colours?) are marked by aggression and invasion of our individual space causing irritability and demeaning the quality of human contact, other sounds (and colours?)give rise to feelings of bonding and love. " Can sound vibrations transform into colour vibrations?....Or are they two sides of the same coin....same energy....that we feel depending upon the energies within us....and how we relate with different deities....different devis.....IS there an " ascendance " of colours from the " grosser " , more dark and vibrant ones to the more " soothing " lighter colours.......the graduation to yellow, then golden and then perhaps no colour? Is that where vibrations stop? And the world becomes colourless and still and ananta??? Just indulging in fantasies. But many things that we hear and read about are just fantasies until we experience them. Like the colours of the devis / the deities.......and the vibrations / nadas that are within and without. I hope Sanjayji will explain these things to us in one of his classes. With regards, Vinita
