Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Partha, Sarbani and List, Namaste How many of you have found the following shloka to be true? Can you please share your experiences with us? **Sarbani, excuse me for my mistakes in my transcripts J Jataka Bharnam Chapter 15 Text 83 कलतà¥à¤°à¤à¤¾à¤µà¥‹ च नवंशतà¥à¤²à¤¯à¤¾ नरसà¥à¤¯ नारà¥à¤¯à¥à¤¯à¥‹ गà¥à¤°à¤¹à¤µà¥€à¤•à¥à¤·à¤£à¤¾à¤¦à¥à¤µà¤¾à¥¤ à¤à¤•à¥Œà¤µ à¤à¥Œà¤®à¤¾à¤°à¥à¤•à¤¨à¤µà¤¾à¤‚शके च जामितà¥à¤°à¤à¤¾à¤µà¤¥à¤¬à¥à¤§à¤¾à¤°à¥à¤•à¤¯à¥‹à¤°à¥à¤µà¤¾à¥¥à¥®à¥© kalatrabhÄvo ca navaá¹Å›atulayÄ narasya nÄryyo grahavÄ«ká¹£aṇÄdvÄ| ekauva bhaumÄrkanavÄá¹Å›ake ca jÄmitrabhÄvathabudhÄrkayorvÄ||83 Meaning: The native has as many wives as is the number of the navamsa rising in the 7th house and also as is the number of planets aspecting this house – i.e., the number of wives is arrived at by adding the number of the navamsa rising in the 7th house as well as the planets aspecting the 7th house. But if Sun or Mars is in the 7th or the house belongs to Sun or Mars, the native celbrates only one marriage and gets one wife. This seems to be rather opposite of Stri Jataka whereby Sun in the 7th indicates that the lady will wear the pants J er……….., I mean she will henpeck her husband and Mars in the 7th means she will wear out her husband’s sexual energy. Please give us your feed back. Love, Swee
