" " Namo gopijana-vallabhabhyam " Dear Gaurav, Namaste This is my recollection: The twelve Adityas beginning from Mesha and ending with Meena are: Mesha - Dhaataa – Indra was the Guru of Dhanvatari Om bhanave namah Om savitrsuryanaaraayanaaya namah Offer ghee, milk and pomegranate. Vrishabha – Aryamaa – Aryaman presides over marriage. Om tapanaaya namah Om ghrini suryaadityah Offer ghee and raisins Mithun – Mitra Mitra Aditya relieves one of mental aggravation/suffering Om Mitraaya nama Om ghrini mitraadityah Offer ghee and curds. Karka – Aruna (Aaruna) – He symbolizes the end of life or the fruits of nay karma. Om ravaye namah Om varunaaya namah Offer ghee, puffed rice and 3 chillies (capsicum). For Krishna, offer kheer. Simha - Indra – He presides over children, knowledge and prosperity. He is the giver of rains and all blessings. Om gabhataye namah (for children). Om ghrni indraadityah Offer ghee + ?? Kanya – Visvasvaan – He causes rain and sustains life. Om khakholkaaya namah Om ghrini khakholkaadityah Offer ghee and rice. Tula – Pusaa – Vishnu is the over Lord. He is the giver of cattle (Pasu)/animal wealth, pets etc. For money related mantras, offer Yajurveda mantra at midday except on Wednesdays. Om pusane manah Om hiranyagarbhaaya namah Om hiranyavetase namah Offer ghee and sweet rice. Vrischika – Parjanya – The giver of enlightenment by causing transformation – refer to the story of Bhadra brahmana and Dipa daana. Om parjanyaaya namah Om vrddhaadityaaya namah Offer ghee + lamp + jaggery. Mantras are to be offered 48 minutes after sunset. Dhnaus – Anshumaan – Yudhisthira was the reincarnation of Yama (Yama putra). Om amshumate namah Om keshavaadityaaya namah Offer ghee + coconut.
