Guest guest
Message 4208 of 4254 [ Reply ] [ Forward ] [ View Source ] Har Hare Hari Wahe Guru Dear members, Narasimha explained very clearly what I was trying more obscurely to get at when he said: >>>>>>>>>> " Let us say natal Moon is in Hasta. Then Moon dasa in standard Vimsottari dasa covers Hasta and that gives the results of Sravanam and Rohini also. Mars dasa covers Chitra and that gives the results of Dhanishtha and Mrigasira also. And so on. In the Tribhagi variation, first Moon dasa gives the results of Hasta. First Mars dasa gives the results of Chitra. And so on. Then the second Moon dasa gives the results of Sravanam (at 120 deg from natal Moon!) and the second Mars dasa gives the results of Dhanishtha. And so on. In the third tribhaga, results of the nakshatras in the last 120 deg (from natal Moon and not from Aswini) are given (Rohini, Mrigasira, Ardra etc in this example)................ ....................In the first Moon dasa (Hasta) in the example, the nine antardasas should correspond to nakshatras from Hasta to Uttarashadha. In the first Mars dasa (Chitra), ADs should correspond to nakshatras from Chitra to Sravanam. In the second Moon dasa (Sravanam), antardasas should belong to nakshatras from Sravanam to Krittika. And so on. " >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Also Mr. PVKL Rao : >>>>>>>>> " Then why at all considering nakshatras at all? WHY DO NOT WE JUST USE standard vimsottari where we do not acknoledge the Nakashatras? Reason is simple. Saying that dasas for a person born in krittika and uttara phalguni (with same dasa sesham) Would not be so good. If we cast the dasa pravesh charts for both, both will be identical. And Rasi chart may not change that much. (Note that for one we may have used utpanna vimsottari and for one we might have used from janma nakshatram, so this is possible on the same data with different times only Lagna changing!!) " >>>>>>>>>> One important point is to consider that nakshatra dispositors can act much as planets in house do as dispositors. If Moon is in Hasta in nakshatra disposited by Moon and Mars is in Rohini in nakshatra disposited by Moon, results in Moon dasha will include effects given by Moon and Mars. This will be especially apparent in Moon/Mars. This is the principle of nadi jyotish, which considers nakshatras as giving the sookshma or subtle effects while planets give the sthula, gross, effects of planets they disposit in their rashis. Thus one probably should not try to distinguish between planets and nakshatras. One should not consider that one has Saturn dasha Pushya antara for example. But one could say that if in first tribhagi one is running Saturn dasha, any planet in Pushya will give its effects. In second tribhagi, any planet in Anuradha will give its effects. In third tribhagi, any planet in Utt Bhadra will give its effects. Antaras would probably be each of the nine planets just as in vimsottari dasa, following from the planet whose dasa it is, i.e. if it starts with Saturn dasa, depending on where dasa sesham is shows first bhukti, and then all nine planets cycle from first bhukti lord. This leaves the question unanswered, which of the three nakshatras should be considered in the first tribhagi, which in the second which in the third. For example in Narasimha's chart, you are running Rahu dasa. Jupiter in Swati and Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada should each give effects in one of the tribhagis. You are in the first tribhagi. If we take them in order from 0 Aries, you would be getting effects from Ardra first, with no planets. In next tribhagi dasa of Rahu, you would get results of Jupiter. In third tribhagi you would get results of Rahu itself. Also, transits utting vedha onto Ardra nakshatra may have strong effect on you. For example, around the ninth of June 2000 Sun Ven Mars and Merc were all in Ardra. That should have been a time making a major impact.
