Guest guest Posted January 7, 2008 Report Share Posted January 7, 2008 Hi All, I had gone through some articles on finding out the istha devata and the various other devatas and mantras revelant for an individuals spiritual progress. My question is how would one find out if someone's path is yoga or the path of tantra marg for his/her spiritual development.. Jaimini sutras say looking at the trines from the karakamsa, if there are malefics preferably two or more the such an individual will indulge in mantrik and tantrik practices with efficiency( not just chanting mantras which a lot of people of course do but being able to use the mantra with effect, in a way being a siddha in the use of one or specific mantras/tantras).. now looking at ramakrishna paramhamsha chart from the Jhora, the trikones from karakamsa do not contain any malefics.. howevere in his it is said Sri Ramakrishna had completed all the 64 various tantrik sadhanas in a remarkable time of just about 2 years.. Can someone please kindly explain why did the rule of 2/3 malefics from karkamsa not show up in Sri Ramakrishna's chart? Does that rule indicate some who will use and display tantrik siddhis?( Unlike what Sri Ramakrishna had done?)..
