Guest guest
Pranaam Sanjay, People are not exactly 27 or 28 types when looking at mind or intelligence. Nakshatras of lagna and Moon are not the sole deciding factors of one's intellectual state and mental state. However, they have a considerable influence and the purpose of this exercise is to understand the influence. Here is my answer: Readings from Lagna Nakshatra: Nakshatra: My lagna nakshatra is Hasta owned by Moon (Vimsottari scheme). Hasta is a nakshatra of Deva Loka. Hasta is a passive nakshatra that makes one kind, honest, truthful and not forceful. (However, some of you know that I can be forceful. We will see the reason for that later. Apart from nakshatras, the dominance of Mars in my horoscope also explains my forcefulness.) Hasta's deity is Viswakarma. Viswakarma is the divine sculptor. Hasta is an artistic and creative nakshatra. It is a raajasik nakshatra and has some creative energy. Graha Drishti: Sun is in Revathi. He aspects the 14th and 15th nakshatras from him (see COVA or my book for list). So he aspects Hasta. In fact, he is the only planet who aspects lagna nakshatra. Jupiter is the primary significator of intelligence. His aspect on lagna nakshatra would give very saattwik and pure intelligence. Sattwik planet Sun also shows positive energy in the matter of intelligence. Luckily my lagna nakshatra has his aspect. So Sun gives me saattwik and bright intelligence. Worship of Aditya will increase my intelligence and channel it in a saattwik manner. Nakshatra Drishti: Nakshatras aspect each other like rasis aspect each other. If we draw sarvatobhadra chakra (as shown in COVA or my book) and draw horizontal/vertical lines and crossward lines from each nakshatra, we can find the nakshatras aspecting a nakshatra. Drawing a vertical line from Hasta to the north, we see that it has aspect with Uttarabhadra. Drawing cross-ward lines in the northwestern and northeastern directions, we see that Hasta has aspects from Poorvashadha and Ardra respectively. Uttarabhadra's deity is Ahirbudhnya, one of the eleven Rudras. Ardra's deity is Lord Shiva. Due to this, Hasta gets some taamasik energy too. Aspect of the nakshatras belonging to Rudra on my lagna nakshatra shows that my intelligence is prone to being angry and disturbed at times. Readings from Moon's Nakshatra: Nakshatra: My Moon is in Poorvabhadra lorded by Ajapada. It also belong to the passive group, saattwik cycle and Nara Loka. Overall, it is a saattwik nakshatra. Graha Drishti: No planet aspects Poorvabhadra in my chart. Nakshatra Drishti: Poorvabhadra is aspected by Uttarashadha, Punarvasu and Chitra. These are ruled by saattwik planets Sun, Jupiter and Moon. The respective deities are Brahma, Aditi (mother of Gods) and Vaayu. The gunas are mixed (raajasik, saattwik and taamasik respectively). Uttarashadha's aspect brings creativity, passion and rajas to my mind. Punarvasu's aspect brings stability, purity and patience. Chitra's aspect brings forcefulness, anger and a wandering nature to the mind. Depending on the transits, all these influences can be seen in me. For example, Chitra 3rd pada (Moon is in Poorvabhadra 3rd pada) is in Libra. So Venus hora on a Tuesday (or Mars hora on a Friday) may make me angry or give me wandering thoughts. Punarvasu 3rd pada is in Gemini. Mercury hora on a Thursday (or Jupiter hora on a Wednesday) may make my mind feel peaceful, happy and satisfied. And so on.
