" Hare " is the " sambodhana prathama vibhakti " form of " Hari " . In

Sanskrit, each word has many " vibhakti " forms and they cover different

prepositions like " to Hari " , " for Hari " , " in Hari " , " of Hari " etc. One

form is " O Hari " and it is used when calling (addressing) the person.

That form is " Hare " for " Hari " .

So " Hare Rama Krishna " means " O Hari, O Rama, O Krishna " . (Hari is Sri

Maha Vishnu.)

" Hara " means shiva and " Hare " is the 7th vibhakti form of it and means

" in Shiva " . But that meaning may not quite fit here. Of course, we can

always interpret differently and give fine philosophical

interpretations. But the intended meaning is as above.

May Jupiter's light shine on us,

Narasimha
