Pranaam Sanjay,

One thought on your D-60. If arudha lagna is in Pi, exalted Moon is

in 3rd from AL. That shows death in previous life from a widy complaint

or a problem in chest or drowning in water. If death occurred in the last

life by drowning in water, that may result in fear of water in this life.

If you have fear of water in this life, we can then probably make a strong

case for Cn lagna in D-60.

Can we do things like this? Do you look at it as a valid rectification

technique?

Hamsa Om So'ham

Dear JYOTISHA,

DO YOU FIND ANY CHANGES IN ME? I have

been reciting a very UUUUGra

mantra of Lord Narasimha to destroy

ALL poison and poisonous.....I could not

resist the temptation as a number of hurdles were appearing

all around. Of

course worship of Jagannath continues.

Narasimha Satru Marana Mantra:-

"Om Nam Nrisimhaya Satrubhujabala vidirnaya namah"

Om Tat Sat

Best Wishes

Sanjay Rath

Is it appropriate to read this when you are dealing with enemies who are

not very dangerous? I don't think so.

[Another point: You may not agree with me, but mantras that have beejaaksharas

in them should be very carefully pronounced. Your gurus may be very competent,

but how can you be sure that not even a small error crept into the mantra?

A small error in pronunciation or intonation or even in the procedure used

can ruin a mantra.

This is why I prefer saattwik mantras, kavachas and stotras and avoid

ugra mantras.]

I know that you are a master of mantras, but I don't think your choice

is very appropriate. I suggest "Mantra Raja Pada Stotram" by Lord Shiva

(essence of Narasimha's nature) and "Sri Lakshmi Nrisimha Pancha Ratnam"

by Adi Sankara.

If you have RealPlayer software (http://www.real.com), then you can

find them in RealAudio format at

http://www.geocities.com/pvr108/pooja/mantrarj.ram

http://www.geocities.com/pvr108/pooja/nrisimh5.ram

I also took the liberty of loading them onto the SJVC site and you can

read them at

http://www.sjvc.net/pooja/mantrarj.ram

http://www.sjvc.net/pooja/nrisimh5.ram

I did not put any links on the SJVC main page or devotional page and

I may do it with your permission later. For now, you can type the above

two addresses and access the two stotras. I strongly recommend the former.

It captures the essence of Narasimha tattva better than any mantra. Lord

Shiva Himself said it!

I just recorded them and uploaded them to both the sites. I hope you

can hear them.

May Jupiter's light shine on us,

Narasimha
