Guest guest
Dear Shaanbaag,As per centuries of practice you either face east OR north while doing your personal spiritual practices/puja etc. Never heard of west. You face south ONLY during shraddha rituals.Sarbani RathSent from my iPhoneOn 09-May-09, at 3:38, "sbm_sharma" <sbm_sharma wrote: Hello all, It is my understanding that one should face East when doing japa for spiritual purposes, North for personal well being and West for material comforts. Is this correct? I would assume then that if one is given a mantra for career that it is best to face West? What direction should one face when trying to improve a debilitated Venus (In order to improve relationships etc..) Thank you.
Guest guest
Dear Sarbani Ji, Thanks for this. I have read about the directions from various sources including Sanjayji's VRA book (Though VRA lays out a different scheme from the one I indicated). At any rate, thank you for answering my question. I'll of course stick with your words. If you have a moment please check your email. Guest guest
Namaste As per Guru Gita in a dialogue between Lord Shiva and Parvati, Lord Shiva does indicate that west is best for material gains and wealth also all kinds of wealth, etc. Please refer Guru Gita for more details both for direction and also the type of asana material. It is a very important gita where Lord Shiva has narrated the importance of SadGuru. Do you still face east?--- On Tue, 5/12/09, m540i98 <m540i98 wrote: m540i98 <m540i98Re: [Om Krishna Guru] Direction to Face When Doing Japa (How to Choose?)
