Dear Upendra, Namaskar

I thought this was clarified to you on the list? The LORD of the bhava will

show the child, not the bhava itself.

Retrogression will not have an impact on the sex, as far as i know. I will

leave this point open to comments and examples.

When Male and Female charts are showing contrary results, rely on the

fathers chart, as he contributes to the sex of the child.

I am having a lot of Confusion on predicting the gender above

saptamsa due to below doubts

1) As we have to see 7th House for second child, Meena Rasi is a

Female Rasi and a Male planet Retrograded Mars is in it having an

aspect from the Lagna Kanya Rasi(also a female Rasi) with Retrograded

Sani in it.

2) 7th Lord Jupiter under retrogression is a Male placed in a Male

sign Mithun but in Satru kshetra along with exalted Rahu who probably

give a male.

So I would like to know

3) What is the impact of retrograded planets in predicting the gender?

If Jupiter is in his own house which is 7th Place from a Female chart

in conjunction with Venus like below. Show we predict it as Male?

please spend your time to clarify these too?

As you said the Lord of Bhava will show the child

Does the Bhava lord has any impact if he is in his satru's place and

conjucted with an exalted satru?

For example. In the below chart 7th Lord is JU a male. But he is in

his enemy's (Me) place and conjucted with another exalted enemy Ra.

Does it mean we need to consider the child as female eventhough there

rest of signs are male?

Should we consider/implement the strength of lords from Astakavarga

to predict such cases?

Please clarify.

Dear Upendra, Namaskar

Astakavarga will not change the pregnancy. Where did you get these ideas

from? Haven't you read the two articles on saptamsa from www.srath.com ?

Enmity will tell something about the health of the child, but the sex will

not change due to enmity placements.

hello sir!

if i am allowed to intervene then, the lord of the bhava placed in

odd sign ,cancer, pisces ( and excluding gemeni and aquarius) will

give male progeny ......while in rest it will give female

progeny.conjunction with exalted planets give male progeny while with

planets in debility gives female progeny.in the case you have stated

the progeny will be male as jupiter himself is male planet, mercury

is enunch planet and rahu is male and exlated so as per my limited

understanding the progeny will be male.the planets in conjunction

with the child lord have more say in the sex of the child than the

sign.if the lord of child is placed alone then the sign plays its

role.

Dear Upendra,

namaskar. If lord of the child is alone then consider what is the oddity of the rasi he is residing in (Ge/Aq and Cn/Pi are exceptions). If he is not alone, then consider the planet (s) he is residing with. If there are two or more planets conjoining the lord of the child, consider the strongest of those planets. In your case, Ju is with exalted Ra and will give a male issue. I found errors in your wife's chart and Saptamsa lagna there should be rectified (use the fact that your first child is a daughter and the timing of your first child's birth). You have kindly supplied the necessary information to me and I will rectify it some time (too busy at present).

The reason I am still looking in the Rasi chart is that in your Rasi chart, Mo is alone and exalted in the 5H (this gives predominantly female issues) hence I had doubts on rectification and wanted to see mother's and first daughter's charts. Rasi chart should not be neglected as the Divisional Charts are derivatives of the Rasi Chart only.

You can do the exercise of rectification for your wifes Saptamsa as well. Try it and we will then discuss.
