Some time ago Brendan explained in a text that Agni arises from Rajas,

Akash from Sattva and Bhoo (Prithvi) from Tamas. He also mentioned

that Vayu arises from a mixture of Sattva and Rajas and Jala from a mixture

of Tamas and Rajas.

 

I vaguely remember hearing somewhere that the three basic colours are

are assigned to the gunas and, if that is true, I assume that rajas is

red,

tamas blue and sattva yellow. According to this understanding

 

Agni should be red

Bhoo should be blue

Akash should be yellow

Jala should be red and blue mixed

Vayu should be yellow and red mixed

 

I dont know if this is correct. Any comments? Anyone?
