Guest guest
Pranaam Sanjay, Thank you for your comments. > Om Gurave Namah > Dear Narasimha, > The biggest problem with Niryana Shoola Dasa is its Param Ayus of 96 > Years which does not fit into the natural order where the Param Ayus for > Human births is 120 years contributed by the 10 variables (nine planets and > Lagna) where each of them give 12 years. Thus, the Shoola Dasa is What you say is interesting. Ashtottari dasa is also for 108 years. Is that related to the same factor? If so, why is mokshakaraka excluded it Ashtottari and included in Vimsottari? > the best Dasa system for Human longevity. Why " one-third " ?? > Secondly, the basic difference between the Niryana Shoola Dasa > (NSD)and the shoola Dasa is that the former is the movement of the 8th house > while the latter is the movement of Lagna. Thus, in the > movement of the 8th house as in Niryana Shoola Dasa, its reaching Lagna or > its significations brings death while for Shoola dasa, its reaching the 8th NS dasa at death belonged to the 10th house in a significant percentage of examples I looked at. Does that make any sense to you? > house or its significations brings death. Thus, these are exactly the > opposite, yet leading to the same result. Now, death or disease occurs when I suggest a different way of looking at it: The 1st house stands for self and 8th for longevity. The 2nd and 7th houses stand for death (as per Parasara). Shoola dasa starts from 1st or 7th. NS dasa starts from 2nd or 8th. In each case, we have one sign that stands for life and one that stands for death. > malefics afflict Lagna. Here shoola dasa gives the movement of the lagna and > the affliction of malefics to the Shoola Dasa Rasi will surely bring > death/suffering. The aspect of Jupiter brings the blessings of the Gayatri > mantra while the aspect of Venus brings the blessings of the sanjivani > Mantra. These things be borne in mind. Interesting. In Vajpayee's swearing-in chart of 19th March 1998, NS Dasa that brought the end belonged to Leo (with Rahu in it). But Venus was aspecting it. That may have made the " dead " government come to " life " again. You said the blessings of " Sanjivani mantra " (the mantra for bringing the dead to life again). > Can we treat the Niryana Shoola Dasa exactly like the Shoola dasa? After defining NS dasa, Parasara said dasa of " a strong killer house " brings death. He said " bali maarakabhe mritihi " . If the 7th house is strong, for example, its NSD can bring death. If lagna lord is in 12th with 7th and 8th lord, NSD of 12th can bring death. > This is an open question and I am looking forward to the response of the > learned Jyotisha.
