What you say is interesting.

 

Ashtottari dasa is also for 108 years. Is that related to the

same factor? If so, why is mokshakaraka excluded it Ashtottari

and included in Vimsottari?

I suggest a different way of looking at it: The 1st house stands

for self and 8th for longevity. The 2nd and 7th houses stand for

death (as per Parasara).

 

Shoola dasa starts from 1st or 7th. NS dasa starts from 2nd or

8th. In each case, we have one sign that stands for life and one

that stands for death.

Interesting. In Vajpayee's swearing-in chart of 19th March 1998,

NS Dasa that brought the end belonged to Leo (with Rahu in it).

But Venus was aspecting it. That may have made the " dead "

government come to " life " again. You said the blessings of

" Sanjivani mantra " (the mantra for bringing the dead to life

again).

house " brings death. He said " bali maarakabhe mritihi " . If the

7th house is strong, for example, its NSD can bring death. If

lagna lord is in 12th with 7th and 8th lord, NSD of 12th can

bring death.
