Dear Hari and Sarbani,

Namaste

Hari you gave a mantra which I could not

find in Narada Purana, but instead, I found this one which attracted my

attention. What is it used for?

Thanks.

Love,

Swee

Dear Swee / Sarbani,

1. Both of you look very nice in the group photo of the SJC New Delhi conference! Couldnt find Partha in the photo. Must have been wonderful...sigh! the lecture on dwadasa adityas...

2. Just before leaving for Ujjain on Saturday, I saw the Varaha mantra from Swee and after coming back from Ujjain, I saw the Varaha mantra from Sarbani! Perhaps a subtle reminder that I should medidate more on Varaha avatar as my istadevata!

3. Swee: your karakamsa is 3rd from my lagnamsa & 10th to my karakamsa. Verily the divine mother giving guru-upadesa to me.

4. I hope you enjoy these photos taken at the Bhratrihari caves which is a famous yogic peetham (Gorakhanatha / Matsyendranatha) and reportedly where the Pandavas spent some time. Comments welcome. Curious that the other photos turned out blurry despite the spiffy olympus camera that I sport.

Dear Hari,

Namaste

Partha

skived off work and stayed for the day of his talk J. More than the dwasaditya, lots of other goodies from Sanjay ji I

am eagerly waiting for the CDs to come out.

As for

Guru upadesa, I wouldn’t know about that- According to Jaimini, the

following slokas apply in my navamsa 1.2.83, ||trikoNe Napadveye mantrikaH||

and 1.2.85 ||shubha dR^iste anu grAhakaH|| and these combos are directly

aspected by Sun and Ketu.

Often

times, it is required you request permission (within) to take pictures of holy

images etc. An off key note: I recall a photograph taken by my brother of

Garuda around the Great Wall of China. When

the pic came out, there was a very distinct auric trail emanating from the

statue to the clear blue sky!

Swee

Dear Freedom & Sarbani

Su-kara is also the name used in the mantra - om bhur namo

bhagavate sukaraaya

There are two Varaha or boar forms - one black and the

other white and hence this confusion. Sveta Varaha marks the begining of a

kalpa and while Varaha avatar we are talking bout here is associated with

rebirth and safe passage through preganancy. Hence here seems to be some

differences...please keep these two forms in mind whenever you all talk of Sri

Varaha or Sri Su-kara...

With best wishes & warm regards,

Yours truly

Dear

Where is

that mantra which attracted your attention? The sukaraya mantra which Sanjay

taught could be from Srimad Bhagavatam (or) from Maharishi Parasara.

You can find Sanjay's recent teachings on Freedom Cole's website.

Dear Freedom & Sarbani

Su-kara is also the name used in the mantra - om bhur namo bhagavate sukaraaya

There are two Varaha or boar forms - one black and the other white and hence this confusion. Sveta Varaha marks the begining of a kalpa and while Varaha avatar we are talking bout here is associated with rebirth and safe passage through preganancy. Hence here seems to be some differences...please keep these two forms in mind whenever you all talk of Sri Varaha or Sri Su-kara...

Shri Brahmadaru Smarami

Dear Swee and JKda,

The two mantras I wrote down for you are the two that Sanjayji uses/prescribes for Varaharupa, that is, Om Bhur Namo Bhagavate Varahaya (Agni Purana) and Om Namo Bhagavate Srivarahaya. He never uses the shukara mantra. Or so is my observation! The mantra for Kurmarupa is Om Namo Bhagavate Akuparaya and for Matsyarupa is Om Namo Bhagavate Mahamatsyaya.

Dear Swee-ji,

Namaskar. Sorry I made a mistake earlier. The Varaha Mantra that I read in Robert-ji's book is Om Namo Bhagavate Mahaapurushaaya. Akupaaraya is the Kurma Avatara Mantra (Shani) as Sarbani-ji rightly pointed.

Dear Swee-ji,

namaskar. But then it will not be dwadasakshari but becomes trayodasakshari. I think Sanjay-ji gave Varaha Avatara Mantra in his VRA as Om Namo Bhagavate Akupaaraaya (dwadasakshari).

Best wishes,

Sourav

Om Gurave Namah

Dear Sarbani,

In the lecture on Mahapurusha Yogas, Sanjay ji said that " Om Namo

Bhagavathe Mahapurushaya " is the mantra associated with Shiva as Shiva

is the ultimate Mahapurusha, from whom the Mahapurusha yogas evolved.

Sri Rama was known more as Purushottama.

Ofcourse, Sri Rama, as a solar incarnation, indeed had great

similarity to Shiva. Infact, during vanavasa he was dressed more like

Shiva than Vishnu. And, it is said that it is Sita, the prakriti, who

compelled Rama to act, otherwise Sri Rama, like Shiva, would never

(re)act on his own.

Extending the line of thought, do you think that a Mahapurusha is

essentially like the Sun? Influencing all, yet influenced by none?

Regards,

Lakshmi
