Guest guest
हरे राम कृषà¥à¤£ Dear Smart, Namaskar. Heres the formula: Lagna passes through 24 hours in a day and 12 signs in the same duration (approximately). Therefore each sign gets two hours. This changes depending on the length between two sunrises. Therefore each lagna is 2 hours or 120 minutes. Divide this by 2 and you will get the duration of Hora, i.e. 60 minutes. Divide 120 by three and you will get the duration of the Drekkana, viz. 40 minutes. If you divide this by 9 you will get the duration of the Navamsa, and similarly by following this formula for each divisional chart you will get its duration. Example: For D60 the formula is 120/60 = 2 minutes. Hope this helps.
