Some of you missed the 4th sept 09

deadline for registering, new names have come in for the free pooja request and

would be included from Sunday onwards. If you or your near ones have not

registered they can do so now before Saturday 10 pm (IST). Pls read mail below

and you can forward this to your contacts or forums where the moderators have

not allowed posting this pooja request.

Devi Mahatmyam Pooja –

The Devi Mahatmya consists of chapters 81-93 of

the Markandeya Purana, one of the early Sanskrit

Puranas, which is a set of stories being related by the sage Markandeya to

Jaimini and his students (who are in the form of birds). The thirteen chapters

of Devi Mahatmya are

divided into three charitas or episodes. At the beginning of each episode a

different presiding goddess is invoked, none of whom is mentioned in the text

itself.

On Friday 4th Sept

2009, Shastry from Saptarishis Astrology Core Team would be starting

the recitation of Devi Mahatmyam accompanied by Shri Parmeshwar Bharati ji, a

88 year old man who is a great Devi Sadhak.

This is in continuation of the previous postings of Sri

Chakra Yagya, so those who registered for the Yagya need not send in their

registration for this Free Pooja.

For those who did not can send in their request and can

include names of their friends and families with the following details to

pooja

a) Name

b) Birth Details

c) Nakshatra

d) Gotra

e) Problem description in 2-3 lines

If you find merit/karma in helping known or unknown people

with this pooja, you may forward it to forums that we might not be aware of or

might not be posting into.
