Do you feel comfortable with Acquarius lagna? What kind of rating would you give it? Engineering was at undergrad level. Is 9L conjunction with mars good enough to indicate that? 2. If I change the lagna to Pisces, nodes come to to 2nd house. Do nodes in 2H rule out higher studies? Mars however does become the 9L. 3. Stretching it further, Aries lagna brings the nodes to lagna, does that hurt the education chart as a whole? It does however retain Mars’s aspect on 9H and brings Venus to 2H, with Jupiter aspect. Mercury then aspects lagna. Which one would you choose and why? I have some related question too: How does one look at possibility of formal education in later part of life. Do your studies were focused more on Budha or Shukra? b/ ninth lord with Mangal is sure shot for engineering. If it was bachelors then Makara is excluded. 2. From moolatrikona nodes are wellplaced, and they are working for Shukra which in digbali rules the karaka bhava for Siddhamsa. Second lord in eight and badhak promise masters abroad so both Pi and Aq are still considered. Budha in eight (pisces lg) should bring some mishaps during exams/bordering years etc. Moon in Lagna in watery sign vs stoic Kumbha lagna makes a lot of difference when it comes to attitude. 3. Aries is acceptable due to drsti of vakri-Guru on Ma. 4. Nodes shows long break. 5. Budha is not aspected by ninth lord so how he can give higher studies related to buisness/economy etc. If your studies were highly influenced by those directions and branches then.. When i saw the 1970 date I thought it looked like beginning of MBA (2nd lord jupiter) and end of BA (dristi on 3rd & 10th lord). Jupiter is also tenth lord from Moon. This was all using dvisaptati sama dasha. Afflictions to the house of education deny succesful completion of it. The completion will occur during the dasha of the 2nd or 7th house from the house of education. I found the vidasha by seeing the 4th house from lagna as 4th is the house of all formal studies. I've often seen guruji use vakri in Vargas but never to judge strength only to judge desire of the native. This was all using dvisaptati sama dasha. Afflictions to the house of education deny succesful completion of it. The completion will occur during the dasha of the 2nd or 7th house from the house of education. I found the vidasha by seeing the 4th house from lagna as 4th is the house of all formal studies.
