Thanks a lot for the mail and the attachment. It's wonderful.

Infact the very second Parivrajya yoga from the pdf clears my confusion. Moon must be in saturn navamsa and aspected by saturn in rasi chart.

Rajarshi

Hare Rama Krishna

Dear Rajarshi,

As with most yogas they come in various levels of potency. Are they occuring in Rashi or Navamsa ?

The more conditions are filled that yoga has more potency.

also to consider is

And does the chart show other combinations suggesting/confirmi ng asceticism?

Sanjay, Visti and others have written on the charts of many renunciates, please try and read those articles.

There is a big difference between someone locked into poverty, hardship,

someone who works hard all day, and gives the result of all his activties to his/her children and relatives, never experiencing a vacation, nor enjoyment of his toils/

and what about someone who comes from kings and renounces everything, and is sannyas, etc.

You have to look carefully at the chart and see the various influences/

Saturn can give a mood of renunciation due to various pains and suffering,

sometimes a person has a choice, go crazy from intolerable grief, suffering, frustration, suppression, or become spiritual and not bound by material laws.

Saturn can give ability to preform austerity, be regular. A good saturn can give dicipline, and be consciencious.

Saturns influence, or through suffering/denial one also can develop compassion for others, having walked in the same shoes.

And then there are some sannyasis who call themselves "swamis " who live like kings....

See Robert Kochs book, or look for some of his posts on this topic in the previous years.Im including on paper of his .

Best wishes

Lakshmi

Namaste EveryoneWhile reading about renunciation yogas from BPHS, I came across the following line:If Moon be in the decanate of Saturn, or in the Navams of Saturn, or Mars and be aspected by Saturn, the native becomes an ascetic and enters the holy order, signified by Saturn. Now, does this mean that moon should be in decanate of saturn and aspected by saturn in the drekkan chart for a chart to have the renunciation yoga? Or only the presence of moon in saturn's drekkan is enough? My confusion arises because of the phrase "and aspected by saturn", is that part applicable only for when moon is in mars navamsa? Or for all the three cases, that is moon in saturn drekkan or moon in saturn navamsa.-RegardsRajarshi

I had one more question on this topic.

In the BPHS it says if someone has Shukra as the leading planet in a 4 planet combination of parivrajak yoga, then he/she becomes a sanyasi with a chakra.

What does this "chakradhara" mean?
