1. Physical Appearance

Medium height, stocky/medium build, fair complexion, fair hair, oval face.

 

2. Personality

Independent, passionate, emotional, devotional, strong feelings, enjoys

emotional depth in all relationships and friendships, loyal. Good

communication skills and good conversationalist. Makes good contact with

others and quickly establishes trust and openness. Good judge of character

and can easily perceive motivations of others. Loves to penetrate barriers

in interpersonal relationships. Psychological, empathic and good listener.

 

Since early 20's pursued spiritual life, philosophy, meditation, psychology

and God realization.

 

3. Traits to be corrected

Can be stubborn (Lagna + many planets in fixed signs) and can be resentful

but hates to leave issues unresolved between self and others. Quick to anger

if not understood. Does not like criticism.

 

4. Professions

First career was computer applications in engineering (graphics and

mathematical analysis) in both corporate world and academia. Six years as

Asst/Assoc Professor of Engineering. Leo on 10th. Sun as lord of 10th with

LL, Mars = engineering. 9th lord in 10th = academia. While in this profession

intensely studied Jyotisha, Ayurveda and Classical Homeopathy and in 1992/3

finally quit and started my own full time practice in those areas.

 

Was always interested in alternative medicine and astrology. Scorpio lagna

(with Mars angular for medicine) with Leo on 10th.

 

5. Business and Finances

Very good skills in the world of business and finance. Worked as strategic

planner while in engineering career and successfully managed $30 million

company for few years.

 

Have always been lucky in my personal finances and money always comes. I

never worry about it. Tend to neglect or pay little attention to my personal

finances such as savings, etc.

 

6. Ideal Match

Not sure what this means. My wife has Capricorn Lagna and works well.

 

7. Romance & Marriage

Very poor for first half of life as was totally committed and dedicated to my

Guru and spiritual life. It was an extremely devotional relationship with a

great deal of love and affection - reciprocated. Cancer on 9th and Moon dasa.

 

Early in Mars (LL) dasa met my wife (age 42) and married age 44 (7th lord

Venus in Saturns sign). Taurus on 7th and she is very stable and devoted.

I've always tended to see marriage in conflict with my spiritual goals but am

stable and devoted to my marriage.

 

8. Relationship and sex

Enjoy deep emotional connection and communication is extremely important.

Become bored without strong and open communication.

 

In sexual expression the communication and intimacy is more important than

the physical. Sex without intimacy feels wrong.

 

9. Domestic Environment

Enjoys harmony but does not mind intensity in emotional exchange.

Likes cooking and good food. Environment must be artistic or at least well

coordinated in design and color.

 

10. Health

Pitta/Kapha constitution.

 

No serious pathology but always some pains in the body. For years pains in

region of the heart but doctors have never diagnosed any problems. Possibly

mitral valve prolapse and I anticipate heart problems later on (4th, 5th, Sun

and Moon affliction).

 

Liver and gallbladder need support due to excess Pitta ( 5th Pisces, Aries

and Rahu in 6th) and occassional pain in that region.

 

11. Hobbies

My hobbies became my career (lord of 3rd in 10th).

Philosophy, psychology, mythology, religion, Jyotisha, Ayurveda and

Homeopathy and people. Teaching.

 

12. Moods

Can be very happy and jolly with joy, humor, excitment and happiness. Stable

mood overall, but needs time alone as can be despondent and hopeless on

occassion.

 

13. Fabrics

Natural fabrics, especially cotton.

 

14. Furniture choice

Colorful and stylish.

 

15. Music

Traditional and ancient. Quiet, soulful and reflective ancient music.

 

16. Safety/Daring

Safe but non-conformist.

 

17. Herbs

Always enjoy bitter herbs (Mars/Scorpio) and bitter taste. Ayurvedic herb

Kutki is my favorite (one of the most bitter ayurvedic herbs). Also drawn to

Shatavari and Amalaki.
