Hello,

I was reading many of the informative past posts, and formulated a

question.

What is the effect of the Upapada and Darapada being in the same sign?

Gratefully,

Alex

Upapada is the Arudha of the 12th house and would be indicative of the spouse

and marriage

while Darapada is the Arudha of the 7th house, which will be indicative of the

physical

relationship with the spouse or other (out-of-marriage) relationships. It may

also

indicate the boss at someone's workplace. According to my experience Darapada

and Upapada

falling into the same house (and free from evil influence) will indicate that

the native

enters into any relationship with the aim of getting married, i.e. does not have

extramarital relationships. If it's connected to 10th ot A10, may indicate that

there is a

career relationship also between the spouses. Navamsha should also be

considered.
