Guest guest
Namaste friends, On 2005 Dec 27 morning, we will be reading "Hanuman chalisa" 108 times at my house. In the afternoon, we will be doing a special pooja to Mars. We will be doing a shodasopachara pooja (16 service ritual) to Mars and reading various prayers of Mars. We will be reading his kavacham (protective hymn) 11 times, rina vimochana stotram (debt relieving prayer) 11 times, ashtottara sata nama stotram (prayer with 108 names) 108 times and his Vedic mantra ("agnirmurdha...") 11x108 times. At the pooja commencement, Mars will have just risen in the east and Jupiter will have an exact drishti on lagna. As it is a Tuesday with a close Guru-Mangala yogam and a holiday for me, I decided to do this pooja. Hanuman chalisa reading will start at 8 am and go on till perhaps 11 am. The special pooja of Mars will start at 1 pm and may go on till 6 pm or 7 pm. You are all welcome to attend the pooja(s). If you are being troubled by Mars, I will be pleased to include your name in the sankalpam of Mars pooja. In that case, please send me a mail giving your name, gothra (indicate preference of Achyuta or Shiva if you don't know your actual gothra), janma nakshatra and janma rasi. If I don't get too many emails, I will honor all requests. If I get too many requests, I will honor the first few requests. May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha ------------------------------- Free Jyotish lessons (MP3): http://vedicastro.home.comcast.net Free Jyotish software (Windows): http://www.VedicAstrologer.org Sri Jagannath Centre (SJC) website: http://www.SriJagannath.org -------------------------------
