Guest guest
OHM SHRI RAGAVENDRAYA NAMAH JAYA JAGANNATHA Namaste Sat Siri, What I meant by this repetition of Hora progression is: The rate of Hora progression is 15 (Like the rate of navamsa progression is 3.33). What we do is for a particular divisional chart progression, we are trying to find how far the Sun has progressed with respect to the varga at a particular date. So, we multiply the age by the rate of progress. Hora progression for a person, at the age of 24 will be = 24 x 15 = 360 degrees. So, one cycle of Sun's progression has been completed with respect to Hora varga progression. So, from 24th year onwards another cycle starts from the Natal position of Sun. So, this progression will touch all the important points touched by the Sun in the previous cycle. For example, suppose a person's Artha seham is touched by the Sun's Hora progression at the age of 10 and if he got some wealth at that time. Then again at the age of 34, the Sun's Hora progression will touch the Artha seham. This is what I meant by my question. By the by I do not have the beta version of JHL and I do not know how it is calculated there. Thanks for your feed back With regards Solai Kannan Sat Siri Khalsa [satsiri]Monday, February 12, 2001 2:53 AMvarahamihira Subject: [sri Guru] re: Solai's question 5Dear Solai and other members> Question 5. In hora progression within 24 years, Sun's one cycle of> progression will be completed. So, the next progression will touch allthe points again in another 24 years. This identical happening is notpractical. > So, the chart on the time of progression on certain pointisimportant. After the first round of 24 years, the Sun's progressions are then readfrom one year further out. This is followed in the beta test version of JHora. Thus they are notidentical the second time around.Sincerely,Sat Siri KOM TAT SATArchive: varahamihiraInfo: varahamihira/info.html
